@PutRandomNameHere I don't know of anything else that would work in it's place. However, if you don't mind the runny texture, it will still taste fabulous without it. Perhaps you could make individual tarts. You would probably want to eat it right away because the liquid would make the crust soggy though.

The goo you put on top of it acts as a semi glue, but yes, many will fall over. But who cares once you taste it... you won't care what it looks like.

Though honestly... we eat lots and lots of cookie dough and real french silk pie and the kids like the bowl from when we make cakes and it's never made us sick... ever. Yes. Cook it alone in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes. Let it cool completely before pouring in strawberries.
