its not called the 969 rotation because of the cooldowns, since all but 1 of them are 9 secs, Its because every 6 seconds you get 0.5 secs CD and every 9 seconds it restarts

Old comment, but you're wrong. It IS called the 969 rotation due to CDs. Two 6 CDs, three 9 CDs. The nines are holy shield, judgement, consecrate. The sixes are Hammer of the Righteous, Shield of righteousness.

Judgement is talented down to 9 seconds in the Ret tree. Must happen for this rotation to work. Consecrate and holy shield have 8 second CDs, but are used every 9 seconds. The rotation is called 969 because of alternating CDs, but it is usually (or always) done 696.

Maintankadin is a good website to read about it on. And in your first comment you clearly were wrong about all but 1 being a 9 sec CD. HotR and SoR are both 6 second cooldowns.

I have no clue what rotation you're talking about, but please educate yourself a bit more before making an incorrect comment and dismissing the correct one.

@123Keating321 There are quite a few mods that do that. While I can't be 100% sure if it's the one Lintissa used, I think it may be Mik's Scrolling Battle Text (more commonly MSBT). Its readily available on sites like Curse or WoWInterface.

I also got an addon i use at start, so i NEVER lose aggro. /castsequence Avenger's Shield(Rank 5),Consecration(Rank 8),Consecration(Rank 8),Consecration(Rank 8). i hate the Consecration 3 times cos it takes 30sec for AS to CD. It's nice:)

@ByPolarProductioms It is faster to cast spells and abilities by hitting keys rather than clicking icons. This works best in a reactive fight, like pvp. Tanks control the situation and fight in a pro-active manner. Therefore clicking is acceptable, although you would still use keys for the 'oh crap' moments. Also this video would not have worked without clicking.

You will always find idiots posting 'clicker' comments on YouTube whenever possible, nothing you can do about that ;)

Those 5 bar things is a close up view of their bar, if you look on the bottom left, you can see the manual selecting of spells.

Putting down consecration before a trash pull in a dungeon would be advisable, but this is not in a dungeon and their is no party or healer. This is a simple demonstration of a spell cycle to create maximum TPS. If you wish to display your own skills and knowledge you are more than welcome to upload your own video and post it as a video response to this one.

The cooldowns is probably omnicc. The 5 buttons in the middle of the screen are not an addon but he enlarged it for the purpose of the video. If you see his mouse cursor is on the bar at the bottom and the bar in the middle.

Oh.. So i havn't been using the 969 rotation.. xD I've been using Consec Holy shield and a judgement (Two points in the imp Judgement) and then Hammer of righteousness and then ShoR.. I mean i will always be able too use consec after ShoR so should i change my rotation or should i stick with my current one.. I don't want to re-spec again.. Done it plenty of times now xD

Use the 969 rotation. You can do it with an 8 second judgement, it just means judgement will come off CD a second before you can use it. If you were to respec, it just means you can put that point somewhere more effective.

The video is great one of the best i've seen so far I tried tanking VH hc for the first time as tank and they wanted me to do another one again thx. Also I wanted to kno which addons you would recommend that are a MUST for a paladin tank, also that specific addon u have on ur screen to show those 5 rotation buttons.

The 5 big buttons are a video editing trick, not an addon. As for *must* addons I would say they are none. OmniCC is nice to put the cool down clock on your buttons and Omen is good for seeing how effective your thread generation is, but you can live without them.
