I think it's quite convenient for Flair's personality that he needs TNA's pay cheque to keep paying off debts. He will wrestle for ever, from time to time, until it is physically impossible for him to do so. It's a question of what more painful for Flair: being out of the spotlight or a life of pain suffered from a serious injury which could very well happen. Maybe Flair is past caring about injuries and is blinded by the spotlight. I am now going to watch Flair v Sting.

I think Flair has evolved into a different character now. By his own admission he is God in the ring. When he enters the ring he should be surrounded by fire and smoke. I liked his promo with Roode but his entrance was worse than most mid card wrestlers.

TNA have sent out a message over the past 18 months. It is this: we sucked and WWE is better. Naturally as a consequence of this AJ Styles was trashed into the mid card and washed up WWE stars were thrust into the main event. TNA should have realized they had a very good product which just needed putting over, not squashed by Hogan and co. I guess they feel it's better to be a public visible disaster than an obscure perfect product.

I can only go by what I as rchris36 said in my comment which was that TNA thrust WWE stars into the main event. There is nothing wrong with that when you think about it in theory. I think Flair has evolved into a different character now. By his own admission he is God in the ring. When he enters the ring he should be surrounded by fire and smoke. I liked his promo with Roode but his entrance was worse than most mid card wrestlers.

Flair should be grateful TNA's ratings are whey they are. It means a lot of people actually think he is retired after the glorious mania exit and are shocked that he is wrestling if they find out. TNA's failings are perhaps the gain of the Flair legacy. Let's face it, it is embarrassing when Flair is in the ring with a Matt Morgan and while interesting to watch ultimately sad.

TNA have sent out a message over the past 18 months. It is this: we sucked and WWE is better. Naturally as a consequence of this AJ Styles was trashed into the mid card and washed up WWE stars were thrust into the main event. TNA should have realized they had a very good product which just needed putting over, not squashed by Hogan and co. I guess they feel it's better to be a public visible disaster than an obscure perfect product.

It's interesting watching Hogan as one of many who have only seem him as an old man in the ring. Flair and Hogan do not impact with younger viewers and should be removed from main event material. They would be better in a coaching role behind the scenes.

TNA is truer to wrestling than WWE is by a long shot, so if wrestling is to survive it will be up to a company like TNA. McMahon has ruined the sport. TNA will have to save it.
