Spider-Man 1 on Blu-Ray is a Minor Improvement over the SuperBit DVD, also none of the bonus features from the 2-Disc DVD Edition were ported over to the Blu-Ray, so all you get is just the movie. I've also read some complaints like it is murky at some scenes and instead of nice blacks you get dark blues. Also the Dolby TrueHD mix isn't a huge improvement over the DTS Mix on the Superbit DVD.

It is better told hold onto your DVD Edition for now until they put out a better edition on Blu-Ray

The difference isn't gigantic, but it is most definitely noticeable. I compared the first 20 minutes or so side by side as I have 2 tv's in my room. A few reference scenes are the wide open shot of the building with the spiders where everyone is walking in and it's a zoomed out(You can't see a thing in the horribly pixelated dvd), the first scene at oscorp and try to make out the badges on the guy ondvd.
