I dont think alot of people should really be blaming tiffany for using her knowledge in english. Lets face it, out of all nine girls tiffany is the most fluent. yeah, jessica knows english too, but she has a slight accent since she did head back to korea when she was 12. but tiffany stayed in the U.S.A until she was 15. so tiffany is much more fluent, if thats possible. some of the comments on here are quite negative but they're warranted and i've been feeling the same way. theres a definitive lack of passion and energy from the girls recently most likely because of their schedules. i know fany is the most fluent in english and will therefore be doing most of the talking but sometimes she seems over the top and inarticulate. it often seems like sica wants to talk but can't get a word in. she's not creating opportunities for any of the other members to speak.
Actually most of the money the girls make go to SM. Same goes for most major idols under huge labels. The expensive looking clothes they wear are usually things they're promoting or are gifts. Those endorsements and CFs take some time to do too. Sure, they have stylists/songwriters/choreographers, but they still have to practice the dances, routines, and songs. And then perform them almost weekly, traveling back and forth to places. And then there's also the jetlag and time difference...

I like Girls Generation..But they are boring as F^@K excluding Tiffany and Hyoyeon. They're always tired or some other excuse. Personally, Jessica, Yuri, Teayeon, and YoonA come off as stuck up and everytime Tiffany speaks their eyes roll to the back of there heads.I understand that they work hard & have a right to be tired BUT they get paid hella money to pretend not too but who wants to spend time & money on tired celebs. @HyperionZ LIKE I SAID.. They get paid lots of money & that is there duty as "Entertainers" to be interesting.. Most interviews that i've seen in that past 10 months they have been tired. As entertainers/singers/dancers i've found just recently that they dont dress themselves,make their own dances,nor do they write their own lyrics & lately traveling the world lip singing. They did amazing on letterman BUT i dont see the same passion from 2yrs ago.. its like they are outgrowing GG.
@LaTerra2008 Yes, they make lots of money, but they are human beings. There is only so much you can do running on fumes. In regards to concept, all idols are in the same boat, only a few of them have written music for their albums. With SNSD, compared to 2009, they are actually starting to write their own lyrics, but only 1-2 songs per album. As for their passion, I still see it, but they are exhausted. Tiffany said she only able to enjoy 10% of their success due to lack of rest.

as for the kelly interview, howie complimented fany on her english. to which she replied that she was born in the U.S.; this shows that she knows that

@minhnhat95 i think fany seems to have the need to pull the attention to herself. yeah, definitely she should be active since she can speak english, but the way she was handling it, she wasn't giving the other girls (especially jessica) an opportunity to get a word in if they wanted to talk. the other girls are more laid back and acting like a group and probably would've talked more if fany wasn't jumping all the questions.
@minhnhat95 Couldn't agreee more, Jessica, as we know, she would never easily step out to talk comparing to others (even SeoHyun!). So I think Fany is kinda did a great job. Though Jessica has better American accent.
I figure the girls were physically and mentally worn out, and did this interview when they really just needed some sleep. But they were all gracious and friendly, quite generous with their time. Tiffany and Jessica are both American, so it is logical that they have the most to say in an English-language interview. I think we'll be seeing much more of them in America soon, and have many more chances to interact with them in English. Go girls!

@HyperionZ LIKE I SAID.. They get paid lots of money & that is there duty as "Entertainers" to be interesting.. Most interviews that i've seen in that past 10 months they have been tired. As entertainers/singers/dancers i've found just recently that they dont dress themselves,make their own dances,nor do they write their own lyrics & lately traveling the world lip singing. They did amazing on letterman BUT i dont see the same passion from 2yrs ago.. its like they are outgrowing GG.

@LaTerra2008 Yes, they make lots of money, but they are human beings. There is only so much you can do running on fumes. In regards to concept, all idols are in the same boat, only a few of them have written music for their albums. With SNSD, compared to 2009, they are actually starting to write their own lyrics, but only 1-2 songs per album. As for their passion, I still see it, but they are exhausted. Tiffany said she only able to enjoy 10% of their success due to lack of rest.

@kimyena0 i don't think she's trying to show off. if she doesn't speak, then none of the other girls would have said anything anyway. she was the most upbeat during this interview while everyone else seems tired. fany was probably tired too! rather than annoyed, i think the rest of the girls are appreciative to have fany and sica be able to speaking english influently. face it, without them the best english would be from sooyoung. she's good but definitely not fluent.

when it comes to english interviews, they all fall on fany and sica. sica is the quiet type, she has spoken before in english interviews but maybe she just DOESN'T WANT to speak (introverted). now, we have fany, who's the total opposite!
as for the kelly interview, howie complimented fany on her english. to which she replied that she was born in the U.S.; this shows that she knows that

BUT whether or not she had intentions to show off...we'll never know.
i really don't think she was though. i think she knows the girls best and she knows what's best for the girls. also, she's very excited and energetic FOR the girls!

@minhnhat95 i think fany seems to have the need to pull the attention to herself. yeah, definitely she should be active since she can speak english, but the way she was handling it, she wasn't giving the other girls (especially jessica) an opportunity to get a word in if they wanted to talk. the other girls are more laid back and acting like a group and probably would've talked more if fany wasn't jumping all the questions.

I figure the girls were physically and mentally worn out, and did this interview when they really just needed some sleep. But they were all gracious and friendly, quite generous with their time. Tiffany and Jessica are both American, so it is logical that they have the most to say in an English-language interview. I think we'll be seeing much more of them in America soon, and have many more chances to interact with them in English. Go girls!

@wenddayy : well, I think because Sica-eonnie sometimes shy when she's talking in English. IMHO, when I was watching SNSD English interview, I could see who talks much. Tiffany's more talkative than Jessica-eonnie. In Arirang interview, Jessica-eonnie even expressed herself that she's a quite person.
So maybe Fany thinks that She's no. 1 in English.
