I will disagree with the commentators I have heard and read so far.

Clint Dempsey scored a gorgeous goal. He faked the English defense twice, he got in position to shoot, his shot skipped twice off the ground, was low and had strength, spin and bounce to confuse the keeper. Not an easy shot to stop. Two genius moves, a clever shot, in all: a fantastic effort by Dempsey! I have seen Clint score many goals, and this one was no surprise, just a confirmation of his talent. Thank you, Clint!
