Very good job, good video! This movie is one of my all time favorites and I cant believe it is so underrated and forgotten in a way. The soundtrack has to be one of the greatest of all times and Hans Zimmer is a pure genious! It has so much emotions, especially "outburst of rage" which has been borrowed and used for other movie trailers. Black Rain has it all.

it's a bit far-fetched to imagine one new york cop albeit with a vendetta can almost single-handedly take down such a significant part of the japanese underworld. but it's a very good movie nonetheless probably because it's directed by ridley scott who in my mind has also directed three of the greatest movies of all-time: alien, blade runner, and gladiator.

I use Corel VideoStudio 12 for video editing (you can also use Windows Movie Maker), and Audacity for audio processing. In general, you should load up an entire movie of your choice and a music track or two. Then you make your own story out of the movie by cutting and joining it in different time lines. There are also many effects you can use in VS12.

Review your edit repeatedly and see if it all fits in. Meanwhile, try to synchronise it with the music that you put on, and edit the audio if necessary.

You should start to learn VS12 by using simple video clips such as holidays clips and add just one audio track, try to learn how to synchronise tracks and make a video to work with a music track. Pay attention to the music track, blending the original audio/background sound carefully while monitoring the video.

This is my favourite detective movie of all time. Have watched it so many times again and again. the music, the cimetography, the tight storyline, the superb acting from both Western and Eastern actors and incredible directing by Ridley Scott. But it was never praised by the critics but who cares about those idiots. You should have seen this one in the cinema, the black colour throughout the movie aptly suits the title. Ridley was at his best with this movie.
