this means that you are assuming the raiser can beat you if you have a pair of 2's, 3's, or a flush thats trumping your 3 of hearts. meaning you shouldnt stick around for any bet that causes you to contribute more than 10% to this pot in play.

you then evaluate if the bet is worth trying to catch the cards... if you make a bet that is 40% of the value of the pot you need to make that bet thinking a pair of 2's or a pair of 3's can win you the hand... if you dont then you need to fold. If the value of the bet is around 30% of the pot you can consider your straight and flush possibilities which are stronger plays. The best hand for you to make in this situation is the straight... which is ultimately 6%-7% chance.

This guy is an idiot. Counting cards is EXTREMELY important in playing poker. Its called pot Odd. If you have 3(hearts), 2(hearts)... the board comes Ace(hearts) 7(spades) 4(hearts)... you need to be able to count the cards that can come and hit to make your hand a winner and make a legit bet... You have 19 outs to improve your hand with 47 possible cards to come... thats a 40% chance to improve your hand at all, and a 28% chance you get a straight or flush...
