  • Rilian bound to the silver chair used to scare me

  • walden media is doing the Magician's Nephew next :) the silver chair is the most frightening one but also brilliant :)

  • I aaam deTEEERmined to brreak thrrrrough to the ooverweeeerld, as soooon, aaas PSSBL!!!

  • Director must have thought it makes more sense. After all the languages of cinema and literature are different. In the movies possessed men are usually furious, unpredictable and violent. I'm not saying the idea of changing prince's personality into more hollywood-like was brilliant but I guess I understand what the director wanted to achieve.

  • This whole segment is rather freaky... :P

  • I this all reminds me of The Divine Comedy. The whole thing about them going through a journey to the underworld with a guide and such. I mean C.S. Lewis was a christen and pretty much all 7 books he made had some christen story references.

  • Gah, he's creepy itr looks like he's trying to rape Jill!

  • Down at Fraggle Rock! Down at Fraggle Rock!

  • psychopath. both of 'em. buuuuuuggggggyyyy eeeeeyyyyyeeeessss...

  • yes....psychotic bug eyes would make a WONDERFUL queen suuuuurrrreee

  • Man, that chair looks seriously uncomfortable.

  • But it looks cool ^ - ^

  • 3:46 Uh...creepy...

  • in the book, when prince rilian is under the spell he was very carefree and he kept on laughing. he didnt have anger managment problems and he didnt cover his face with that wierd helmet either. and he wasnt crazy.

  • Yeah, I noticed this too... I'd have preferred it to be done like the book - but they must have had their reasons - prehaps they wanted to create a higher contrast so it was more obvious when he became himself...

  • @jushyosaha604 ur right - in the book Prince Rillian was charming and didn't have anger management issues. He didn't spit on little girls either (4:11-12).

  • @jushyosaha604 well you have to respect the film for getting lots of other things the same as the book.

  • @Hellgrox101NT604comm That's true

  • @jushyosaha604

But it's quite awesome this way :D

  • I know he's supposed to be enchanted, but in the book he seemed to me to be lighthearted and a bit arrogant, laughing and not at all concerned for anything.

  • dude lets out a big spit on jill's face at 4:12

  • why didnt they do the last battle?

  • They stopped after this movie due to financial reasons.

  • i wish they made the last battle

  • Me too...disney is going to do all of them.

  • Indeed. LOL I'd have a serious problem with him since I have a thing about people touching me or getting very close to me. I'd freak out if he did that to me!

  • Me too. I hate it when people invade my personal bubble.

  • the dude doesn't have much respect for ones personal boundaries, does he?

  • @LordeSloth I don't mind, depends on the manner of the other person.

  • the whole touching and feeling of the kid's faces, that's just wrong

  • Rilian is supposed to be cocky, not angry, moody, and creepy!

  • True - but I think it works pretty well like this!

  • I dunno, he scares me :p

  • He's under a spell, he is supposed to act crazy.

  • Yeah, I guess :P Still, it's not how I saw him in the book. He seems too melancholy here. But the performance is still done very well.

  • sweet!, I just rented this (still have it), but I can send it back now, because i can watch the rest on here :)
