I believe that after February 1961, British citizenship was not something that you can be 'born' into. If born outside the UK, you would have to specifically apply for it.

Natural born and native citizens are the same thing - those who attain citizenship by birth. Naturalized citizens are those who acquire citizenship at a later date in life, who were not citizens by birth.

His father was not a Kenyan citizen at Obama's birth because in 1961 Kenya was still part of the British Empire. He was therefore a British subject.

That's actually not true. If you read the statute, it clearly restricts applications for a certification of live birth. He has supplied this information. But people don't want to accept. He's not required to do any more. Furthermore, every court that has heard this case has sided with Obama. There's no basis, in either law or reason, for this request.
