I miss this way of singing....it carried deep emotion & it bound the people together...they understood what each other was suffering & what Jesus meant to each of them because of it...what His whosoever-will love and supernatural protection meant to a people despised, held in contempt, hated, persecuted, and killed at will, by the world around them. None who could protect them to hear their cry, but Jesus. I LOVE the Lord...HE heard my cry!

I love this style and song, but I am afraid if I sing it too loud...somebody might come along and make me a slave!!! Help me Jesus!

This tradition is almost gone. Only a few remember how to sing this type of hymn. Thanks for providing this for our children.

This is what we call a doctor watt,
usually during devotion or prayer,most
time other faiths dont understand the flow of the song,but if you grew up in the baptist church its really familar.
