nope not sped up...that's really how it was. The strobe lights make it look like it's sped up though!

It was one of the coolest experiences (that I'd be happy to never experience again :)

I timed it on my phone. It was more than 25 minutes long. I didn't use my earplugs until about 15 minutes into it, lol! It was one of the loudest things I've ever heard. like standing next to a jet engine for a half hour. I watched quite a few people leave during that segment. It's s shame, because it was incredible. The whole time, I was thinking, This is what the Velvet Underground would have done back in the day if they had had the equipment and the voltage.

lol i know right i was by the railings like in the middle so i can lean my arm on it. so i was kind of close to the front. but i remember seeing one of the security guys faces and it was so funny, i bet he thought "wow i cant beileve all these people listen to this". some kid in front of me raised his hands up in the air, i did too for like 2 minutes. and your right it was so effing loud, it was literally like being right next to a plane engine. it was crazy but wow what an amazing show.

I can't describe how loud this was. It was incredible because people were throwing their hands in the air, totally into it. It was a transcendental experience.

Of course, I also saw a lot of couples bailing for the exit after 15 minutes or so. The expression on the faces of the security people after about 10 minutes was priceless.
