  • Bo Diddly Bo Diddly have you heard...We're gonna jump from a big iron bird..

    Hey Bo Diddly...

.Bo Diddly Bo Diddly don't you cry, an Airborne Ranger was born to die...

    Hey Bo Diddly !

C130 rollin' down the strip,..Airborne daddy gonna take a little trip...

    Hey Bo Diddly...

  • female guitarists are AWESOME.

  • Strong, man, strong.

  • PLAY IT BO DIDILEY!!!!! I can feel his music....I don't know why, but I just do. Does that sound crazy???

  • STFU screaming bitches, Bo Diddley is trying to dedicate a song to himself

  • Lol, white kids in the crown with no freaking rhythm.

  • @obatron1 Yeah, it's so bad it's good. Hey did you ever see the part where The Black Girls were doing this Dance Routine in their Chairs, and these White Girls were trying to Copy them and Two Chinese Girls looked bored out of their minds.

  • I'm 70 now, seen it & done it (was at the Hendrix Festival I.O.W. ) wore the T shirt But this really turned me on WHO THE FUCK was Bo Diddley I do not know but any one who takes a nanny goat into an alley and cuts its throat just for a rice and beans ambitious in lyrics, I am vegetarian.

  • @FlashFire20 ... *high five* !!! I'm a "kid of today" too! ... All those artists you mentioned are great ... too bad we have too many singers now and not enough artists! :/

  • 0:21 - 0:34

I don't know why, but when he walks down from that riser, he reminds me of Foghorn Leghorn.

  • @breadfruitfull I'm a "kid of today" and I prefer rock over rap. Artists like Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jefferson Airplane, Led Zeppelin...those are the best.

  • geant

  • johnevrready, i am sure you could have expressed your satisfaction with a little more class.

  • who is that amazing woman playing the guitar???????

  • WHAT IS THIS!!!!! WOW!!!!!

  • @vierdiez What is it? One of the Godfathers of Rock and Roll my friend lol. Wasn't that just awesome!

  • @mrhoffame Well, honestly it took me time to find out... but I´m amazed...

  • Everything - the set-up. The outfits. The wall of sound. The look. The dance. The beat. The call & response.

America's first GREAT 'rock' band. Brutal.

  • Bo Diddley inspired Don Everly to adopt a driving rhythm guitar style that led to the distinctive guitar rhythms in Bye Bye Love.

  • nothing like that around today.....

  • And what happened to Black quitar thrashers? That was awesome. If the white girls got anymore amped, they would be throwing their knickers on the stage. There was Jimmy Hendrix in the late 60s and Living Color in the 80s, but their time in the limelight was far too brief.

  • @123Samueln7 The record companies segregated rock & roll, thats what happened to them. After all, Jimi Hendrix had to go to England to become a American rock star. A shame isn't It?

  • Bo Diddley R.I.P

  • Yessss, the Duchess could play guitar.

  • I used to pitch pennies out in the lobby while he played inside at the Bladensburg, Md Teen Club in 1960...

  • The truth.

  • holy crap... chuck berry.

  • Bo Diddley: The Coolest, The Dutchess: She loveliest

  • Love Bo Diddley!!!!!!!! If he isn't in the R&R Hall of fame he should be.

  • Those ladies are COOL!

  • man, Bo could dance too!

  • Bo Diddley was gangsta ass fuck!

  • @johneverready Do you mean he was ass fuck like a gangsta, or that he was gangsta to the degree of fuck and you're talking like a snake? BECAUSE EITHER WAY YOU ARE CORRECT SIR.

  • @DavidDylanFisher WELL SAID YOURSELF SIR.

  • @johneverready What is your resavation for saying that

  • That must of pissed the white man off, what with all those little girls going wild for a negro!

  • pathbreaking!

  • I used to go to see him in the late 50's early 60"s at little dance halls. Had all his records, handed to my son now. He was and is so great. Energy! I remember his "amp" was huge and made of plywood sheets. He blew the roof off the small places. Way ahead of his time.........

  • @jimwm27 You are a very lucky man. I was born in 1961 so it was about the early 70's when i got into music. I never got to see all these great R&B/Blues artists. I did get to see Chuck Berry a couple of yrs ago. But he was done forgot the lyrics. Still nice to see him. I bet it was so cool back in the day seeing these greats. I love to watch these black & white videos. The time looked so fun especially in little podunk places.

  • It's no wonder that the Clash, despite the pressures of their record label, chose to take Bo Diddley on tour with them instead of a bunch of cookie-cutter English punk acts. They knew what was real!

They also played with Screamin' Jay Hawkins, which, at that time, boggled their fans' minds (and by boggled, I mean pissed them off). Joe Strummer knew good music. Hell, they even toured with Joe Ely and I automatically like anybody who even knows who any of those mentioned people are these days!

  • @englebertslapptyback And that is why I like you, sir!

  • @englebertslapptyback Is This Really BO DIDDLEY, If so why is he singing about BO Diddley.

  • @niceonemicky Because he's BO. FUCKIN. DIDDLEY. He's just sayin'.

  • this guy invented heavy metal for sure

  • The energy! Amazing performance! I was looking for this for awhile now!

  • To me Bo Diddley is one of the most undervalued stars in history what a class act, to me he is a Superstar of rock and roll certainly in the top 10, He had the charisma and talent that I cannot even describe! He is one guy that made a difference in this world!

  • Great sound that Bo had, and i love how he comes down the stairs, brilliant.
