hey now 3k is a bit harsh, i would say 14 is fair, 126k is alot but its pretty fuckin mint and face it, a stock mint bodied supra is almost priceless in itself. supras are the TOP of the food chain! with ohhh probley less then 50 grand into it you have yourself a 8 second street car makin 6 7 hundred horse at the wheels. try doin that with any other car thats 15 years old.
I had 3 MK4, 1 TT 6 Speed( my first one), 1 N/A Manual( my second), and 1 N/A Automatic. Automatic is really less interesting, BUT, it still really fun to drive an MK4, manual or auto its a great car with an excellent stability.

Ye, an automatic Supra is just such a shame to look at. Means someone in america was too fat to reach the clutch pedal. And what's worse, getting your hands on a Getrag 6-speed manual originally offered for MK4 Supras is nearly impossible nowadays. Anyway, I'd consider getting an R154 from an MK3 Supra. Not such a bulletproof gearbox, but fits a 2JZ and will easily handle daily driving and occasional sideways action :). Definitelly wouldn't keep the phat automatic.

@samelod the acceleration on an automatic supra is a lot worse than on a manual one, and this is meant to be a premier tuner race car. Sure the automatic maybe very fast in the general sense, its acceleration and other performance aspects take huge blows when it is compared to its level of cars.

@samelod the acceleration on an automatic supra is a lot worse than on a manual one, and this is meant to be a premier tuner race car. Sure the automatic maybe very fast in the general sense, its acceleration and other performance aspects take huge blows when it is compared to its level of cars.

if im going to buy a 16yr old car it either be clean and modifyed to high hell or very clean and i wont spend 20k on that when i can get nicer cars for less money maybe if it was modifyed more than a intake and exhaust i would think about it i found a supra for 25k with a 80mm turbo and over 10k invested now thats worth it this just isnt i would price it around 15 if ur lucky plus nobody wants a AUTOMATIC supra!!!! it is a waste!!!

Funny how some people in here talk like they're all that and says "WHAT AUTOMATIC?" But in real life, they can't even drive a manual. The fastest cars on the track are automatics only! Get the point now?!

the autos are deffinetly fast on a track ill give you that, but if the right driver was taking a manual supra MK 4 up against a auto one with a everyday punk in it the manual would probably kick their ass, i drive a auto Mk4 as well and its not always jsut the car that makes it awesome

my supra was relatively stock, i was mostly using it for daily driving, but i gave it to my brother last month, he just got his licence, and im getting a R34 GT-T soon.
But my MK 4 only had the basic BPU+ upgrades, with a bit of ICE on the inside
