Man, I had only played the SNES version of A Link to the Past once, and it was for like an hour (it wasn't my SNES). No wonder I wasn't able to tell the difference when I played through the GBA version. Though the two differences that I did notice when I started playing the GBA version was that Link had his scream from Ocarina of Time and that the audio wasn't nearly as good (but that one was a given). This vid makes me want to play through the SNES version completely.

You forgot several changes, but perhaps you just wanted to point out the important ones.

Some of those are the change of name for the boots and other little stuff here and there that has been renamed.

Also, one thing that I find interesting is that when you die OR save in the SNES version, doing so adds one number to the counter from the menu, while dying (and just dying) adds one to the menu in the GBA.

Nintendo Power held a contest and the prize was to put the winner somewhere in A Link to the Past. Lucky Chris Houlihan won this contest, and now that leads to the creation of this hidden room in the game.

Unfortunately, you can only hack to access it in the GBA version, so I've heard, but in the SNES version, you just gotta find a secret entrance.

If you are in the room at 4:46. All you need to do is to be below the blocks, then face up to the blocks, hold the dash button and the bump boost should take you to the cracked wall area.

The changes are minimal but if you think about it, you can play this game on the go. You couldn't do that with the original SNES title. So that's a big plus for the GBA version. I myself own all three versions.

There's no need to make a tutorial on it, as it's that simple.

go to lake hylia and there is a bombable wall and a cave right next to it. enter the cave bomb the next wall then pegasus dash into the statue. it acts like a regular bee where it attacks enemies but it will follow you screen by screen instead of being left behind

SNES versions of FF6 and Zelda 3 were better than GBA.

Although the GBA translation makes it more obvious that Celes is trying to kill herself, rather than just taking a "leap of faith."

I agree. The SNES versions are much better. For "Final Fantasy VI Advance", the translation WAS improved, but some of the aspects of the game were watered down in order to fit the GBA's hardware. The same applies to "The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past" (though it also had some improvements on the GBA).

you do know you can get the level 4 sword without the super bomb. all you gotta to do is get to the level 4 dungon in the dark world do the miror glitch get under the map move 2 left and like 2-3 up you wil be in the first dungeon in the light world get back into the map go outside and go to the waterfall farie and it will be the fat farie yeah. now you have a level 4 sword.

Go in the fountain, were you get the Ice Rod in the light world. You can't get the good/golden bee in the dark world. The GBA version is the only one to get the rare bees from Dark World.

Amazing. Yet another great installment in the series of Zelda LttP changes from SNES to GBA. Very nice vid as with the others. That's EXTREMELY stupid in my opinion that they would take out the Chris Hoolihan room on the GBA version. I mean, some on! What the f**ks up with that!? Well the only way you can get there was a race to the finish method from Sanctuary to Hyrule castle hole.

Although some people found this during Ganon battle by accident.

I don't know if this is true but the Gameshark is the only way to fully access it.

There is a gap of info missing which is between Bottle Postions..... and Lamp vs Enemy.

They are:

Lighting up dark rooms

Blowing up walls

Fireballs

Getting the Bow

Golden Sword vs Pot

Graveyard jump.
