With the breaking of the first four seals, we encounter the four horsemen of the Apocalypse: Antichrist, War, Famine, and Pestilence. These seals continue for the WHOLE period, and are not just conditions that appear and exit one at a time. They are themes of the ENTIRE tribulation period, and are but the beginnings of the birth pangs as Christ says in His Olivet discourse in Matthew 24

@KnowTheTruth12 why are the 144.000 in heaven in chapter 14? are they killed by the Antichrist?

The 144,00 that are sealed on the earth and the Blood Washed Multitude in heaven are two different groups. The idea is that the 144,000 sealed are SERVANTS (of the 12 tribes of Israel) of our Lord. How do they serve? Well, the next scene are all the people that came out of the Great Tribulation and were faithful to Christ. The inference is that the 144,00 were witnessing to the world and preaching the gospel, and as a result a multitude are martyred and end up in heaven after the Gt. Trib.

@KnowTheTruth12 i believe the red horse of war is Russia. According to Ezekiel38-39 Russia and 9 other nations invade israel

It certainly appears that Russia will be the 'enemy from the north. But remember that God destroys this army Himself, and it takes Israel 7 months to bury the bodies and 7 years to burn their weapons. If Russia alone is the horse, it would seem they would be in no condition to carry out taking peace from the earth and killing 1/4 of the population when God has destroyed their forces. I think the red stands for blood, and WAR will be a theme of the time, nation a/g nation, kingd. a/g kingdom
