@FmasterJG No in Chicago the normal fire station is an engine, truck,and an ambulance, however in downtown since it is so dense there are very few fire stations, which means that the stations must house many more vehicles than the normal station

Good video of response that applies to all cities... quick, decisive, & no hesitation. As soon as that call comes out you know what you need to do. And if you know what your doing than that ride in the fire truck to an emergency is as relaxing as lying in white sand ocean side.
