The experienced when driving to Mt Cook base camp was awful ....so scenic and beautiful . We felt the world is ours since it was so peaceful , less human and traffice etc . Cant wait to be there again with my kids .
Thanks for the comment. It is a great country. Can't wait to go back too. Try driving the west coast route to Franz Josef. Then you really are in the middle of nowhere. Fabulous!
Thanks for sharing - I can't wait to return to NZL (hopefully november 2010). I also loved the Homer Tunnel / Milford Sound video. Milford Sound might just be the most beautiful place in the world.
