@ricardoeldelmustang stock numbers ur lookin under 200 more like 160hp torque is 210 or so but thats bone stock, i have a aggressive cam, holley 770 carb, flat top pistons, head work, and tuned to perfection and dyno'd and shes putting down 518hp and 613 ft lbs now yes i could get more outa her but with those numbers she spins my 40s all day and she still keeps within control unlike some of my buddies

This is a great engine when you add the Banks headers and exhaust system along with their air induction system. Outfitted in that fashion you need to be careful when opening the hood while the engine is running. Your risk being sucked into the air intake.

@skunkapotamus If your suggestion would increase my gas mileage, increase my torque and prevent the exhauset manifolds from cracking or prevent the gaskets from blowing out like the Banks kit did I would try it in a minute. This engine is famous for those problems. True I am ignorant in many respects but I do have the respect for other people that is common in my social class.

Generally a big block is an american v8 with displacement over 5.9L(360). But yeah as you said Ford does not categorize their engine's as big-blocks or small-blocks, rather by series.

I'd much rather do the high performance and all that but how confident do you feel that when you graduate from Wyotech youll be able to find a job in that field right out of school?
