  • Atemberaubend!!!! Für mich der grösste lebende Organist!

  • I hope somebody transcribes this improvisation. It should be available, even though few organists could play it properly!

  • 1:43 to 2:19 is really quite lovely.

  • oh wow i completely agree with you!

  • Not sure what it is...it is deceivingly simple The melody doesn't at all do what I expect it to, and the harmonic resolution is marvelous. It's grown on me even more than when I first posted. The fact that it is an improvisation just blows my mind. I wonder how much planning went into it, and if that solo portion (both melody and harmony) was worked out beforehand. Someone transcribe this!!! ;-)

  • @obxemt no planning/preparation at all. Mr. Roth and Mme Choplin improvise during the mass like this all the time, usually on a gregorian theme used in that particular mass. They are true instant improvisations. Very impressive :)

  • Great!! I love this improvisation...and the organ is very big...amazing...I want play it!! perchè non c'è ne uno anche a milano così??

  • Fantastic! I can only imagine what part of the mass he played this during...? brilliant improvisation on a great instrument.

  • I'd say communion. I really love improvising during communion!

  • Wonderful, excellent! Thank you for posting, this way we can "peekeboo" what's goning on in Paris:-)
