  • such a great lesson! thank you! btw, how do you get that beautiful tone?

  • even if I don't really understand english, thanks!

  • This is a brilliant lesson thank. Exactly the thing I was looking for.

Also another thing you can do is when you go down to the second C chord you can play it with the F as the root and do hammer ons from 5-7 on the D,G and B string

  • finally I've come to the right place

  • @look2jesus777 ye3a.... we do have some strange looks animals down here.... Julia Gillard is one of them

  • Thank Justin. I can't wait to get advanced enough to actually use this.

    Tulare, Ca

  • Sorry, but can you look your own vid because, for me, it's little complicate to follow you because the shadows of the strings. 12 strings or 6. I'm trying again. Next time, please, don't forget the lights. Thanks.

  • Thanks for the lesson.

  • your good, but just dont forget your not as good as Jimi

  • Use your teeth, dude!

  • 7:22 WTF o.O

  • 7:25 WTF o.O

  • poofta...you mentioned RHCP & John Mayer in the same breath??? Disconnect~ ASAP

  • @agostini15times well john frusciante and john mayer was inspired by jimi hendrix.you could hear them applying his style in their music

  • @agostini15times John Mayer is an amazing guitarist. I don't care for his pop songs, but you should give some of his good songs a listen. Gravity is a good one.

  • its turned into a sport of sorts

  • Holy shit its the cops!

  • this man is brilliant

  • Pure genius.

  • Litlle Wing chords :)

  • "Jimi Hendrix style" helps get those million hits but at least mention how much if not more it is "Curtis Mayfield style" and what an influence he was for Mr. H.

  • @roscolbar even John Frusciante mentions Curtis Mayfield as the originator of that style and how Jimi was probably influenced by that, there's a video on YouTube where he shows a few things and talks!

  • @roscolbar but Justin sure didn't leave Curtis Mayfield out on purpose or used Hendrix in the title for the views, so calm down man.

  • does anybody knows what song is he playing in this vid or something similar to it or the guitar tabs /watch?v=0Mvp1bQV3aY

  • He sounds nothing like Jimi.......Sorry just my opinion!

  • I already know how to do this stuff, so I didn't really have to pay attention to your hands - but for those that need it, your lighting is horrible. All the strings' shadows on the neck make it impossible to tell what's going on. Aside from that, great lesson, man.

  • excellent lesson!

  • One of the best lessons I ever saw. Thank you so much

  • Justin, Yu Da Man!!!!

  • Justin ! i appreciate your effort so much!! you are the best teacher!

  • justin ? i hate this name

  • @Morjuggling13 shut it troll

  • Damn! Justin that is an fantastic lesson. I've watched a few of yours but this one is the best so far. Having taught in the past, I can appreciate raw teaching talent when I see it.

I wish I could afford to come over to Richmond sometimes and take some lessons but with a family and only one income, can't manage it right now. Its so great for me that I can at least get some lessons from you on Youtube.

  • this lesson is brilliant and so easy to understand!! thanx a lot !you can apply this to lots of songs and make 'em soun great!

  • These are the best guitar lessons on the tube. Big thanks!

  • @SesaoBetteua130 if you are able to write like a human lets see :P

  • That's a nice Tele.

  • ain't your fret so small? eheh

  • man, you're the best!!!

  • Great great lesson! very helpful

  • RUN JUSTIN AT 5:50 we can hear the police commin after you :P

  • Hendrix was awesome, He could Just pick up a guitar plug it in an amp and scream.

  • hi Justin, I'm considering a new amp. MB Lonestar or Fender HotRod Deluxe. . . Opinion? great lesson btw . . .

  • @joelg125 can't go wrong with the hotrod

  • wonderful as always-thanks.

  • how do you play it with minor chords???

  • @JustinSandercoe U deserve it man, cuz honestly you are one of the best Hendrix teachers!

  • @JustinSandercoe you deserve it man, you're one of the best teacher's I've ever learned from!

  • @JustinSandercoe you deserve more than that

  • Let me watch 5 more times this video so you can complete a million views

  • "if you do that it wont sound anywhere near as cool" ha

  • good job man. ...and great '52 Tele :)

  • I disagree with a lot of the stuff in justins videos, and wouldn't recommend them to someone learning guitar from scratch, but a guitar player can certainley learn a trick or two from these lessons- really useful

  • nice telecaster

  • is that 18 string or is it the shadow? :P

  • @Goepie what an intelligent fucking question.

  • With Presleys words: A little less conversation, a little more action

  • yes, good stuff !have you seen the Lavender Paradise Fire video ?

  • John Mayer uses it alot. In "Another kind of Green", "Good love is on the way", and "The heart of life" being prime examples.

Really really useful tip that one.

  • Beautiful

  • You've brought me one step closer to playing somewhat like Hendrix, thanks Justin:)

  • justin you are amazing

  • Good stuff bro'....I also came with these conclusions when I was studying "little wing"...

  • dude r u jew? cus u got a magen david on your sign

  • little wing <3

  • thx. man, realy cool tricks.

    I use them a lot.

  • jimi is the best

  • MOTHERFUCKING CAPITALISTS with their STUPID- ASS FUCKING COMMERCIALS!!!!!

Jimi's head wouldave exploded if he saw what they're doing to his masterpieces...

  • nice stuff...all your lessons are well interesting...particulartly this one

  • Hey man, I like your lessons, but maybe you should try using colored strings... because the shadows of the strings make it look... trippy

  • awesome lick!! thank you!!

  • hard lines if you got small fingers and thumb :(...as i have.....

  • I like Justin, he makes everything go so easy. Good teatcher.

  • Hi my friend, can u make a voodoo child guitar lesson?

  • i love jimi, u can play like him but buy a fender stratro and not a gibson

  • @jaccovanderwardt he´s playing a fender telecaster

  • @mikelrhcp ooh, but i want a stratocaster :)

  • @jaccovanderwardt i know, the strat is a great guitar and is the jimi´s most used guitar

  • why some videos have been forced to the shitty 240p?

  • I love you. Thanks so much.

  • ahhaa mesa!!!! best amp made so far

  • I wish I knew wtf you are on about, mind you I don´t play the guitar

  • Inspiring Video!!! Thanks man, but im trying this now for the first time, and I got a question... Is it very uncomfortable at first? cuz im like dam this kind of hurts. But i know that you gotta practice to play like this... Great Video my friend

    justin beiber sucks,

  • @ohhhyesss I got him, don't worry.

  • NO I DO NOT WANT A 5 STAR HOTEL NOW GET ME TO THE JIMI HENDRIX SLESSON

  • @ericmeloman85 advertisement blowsssss

  • @ericmeloman85 Hit F5 when you see that

  • @ericmeloman85 Stop acting like a whimsical little brat. Ads are what keeps youtube up and running.

Also, i think Justin receives a small cut from it. Considering all the free lessons he's uploaded here and on his website, i don't think you or anyone else has a right to complain about a 10 seconds ad.

PS: You could buy his DvDs, i heard they're ad-free.

  • @yatah

    Well said

  • @yatah I think the PS got you the thumbs up. Fuck 30 second ads.

  • @jakes6inch

If your using mozilla get the adblock pro plugin.

I dont see any ads. At all.

Wouldnt have known it had one unless I read this.

  • @ericmeloman85 The commercials must be exclusive to American viewers 8D I've never seen a single one on youtube.

  • @SanctumZero Me neither :)

  • @SanctumZero i see the commercials in Canada as well.

  • blabla bla bla

  • don like that last dude looks like a freekn cop to me

  • butter shoes
