Punk is dead. Sure we had The rebels in the 60's, Punk Rock V.1 in '77, and The Clash's last stand in the '80's... But it's for the best. What have we got to whine about now? Animal rights? The monarchs are just figure-heads now and the civil authorities (as always) have turned their blind eye on us... What are we to them but just a bunch misfit "Sociopaths"? It really does seem like punk is dead, I can't name one good band today that even compares to the punk bands back in the 70's/80's...plus it's been exploited and there seems to be no original creativity anymore. The sound is also different today, back then the equipment gave it that certain feeling, now it's all digital and heavy produced. Wish I was born earlier.

The one thing that I find slightly unnerving about the trailer is the emphasis that is put on the punk "look". Why would a kid who got his entire outfit from hot topic not be allowed to decide for himself what is punk? Punk, at it's essence is more than a fashion statement. it's mostly a mindset, and I think many people forget that. You don't need a mohawk and patches to be punk.
