  • Interesting! Did you ever become a priest? And I'll assume you studied in the Catholic church?

  • @francisasbury catholic, yes. never became a priest though, wasn't for me

  • John, when were you studying to be a priest?

  • @francisasbury about 17 years ago

  • So *when* you move means you're moving? If so, congratulations! And your novel makes a reappearance in hard cover! I remember watching your Lulu unboxing from way back when...and I'm still interested in ordering a copy lol.

  • @kippis05 Yes, writing is hard, lol. There always seems to be an excuse not to do it. Currently I am looking at a home, I have put in an offer and an going through the mortgage process now. So might be moving in 60 to 90 days if all goes well.

    I am sure once I settle in, I will get the book done and put it out there for my subscribers...and hopefully millions of others....to read, lol

  • @johnmonk66 Haha best of luck to you in both respects, then. I know from experience how time-consuming real estate shopping can be...

  • How do you like of mice and men?? And also have you read or watched a view from the bridge??

  • @GamingBoy10 Mice and men is a classic, haven't read the view from the bridge.

  • Have you read Yevgeny Zamyatin's "We"? It was the first dystopian novel and inspired Brave New World, 1984 and Animal Farm. A very good book.

  • Where do you get the leather to put on your books, and how would one go about doing that? I would love to do that to some of mine.

  • @jbowers563 I get old leather jackets from the salvation army and cut them up for the leather. Then I glue it on with PVA bookbinders glue, which you can get on ebay.

  • Very nice collection. I've read of few of those myself. "In the heart of the sea" is one of the best accounts of survival ever written. I read the copy from our local library three times, before buying my own. Kudos to you for writing your own book !!!! That's quite an accomplishment. On the subject of Japanese art, Katsushika Hokusai's "The Great Wave" is one off my favorites.

  • @swilliams2482 I have a friend who thinks 'heart of the sea' is one of the best books ever too

  • fear and loathing in las vegas?..... also, no tolkien?;

    thx for the vid;

  • @yardwork2008 read tolkien years ago, left the set overseas years ago and never replaced,

  • Do you still have a lot of knives like you did a few years back? I'd love to see a collection video for those if you do

  • @johndnunez not really a collection, they are all over the place, perhaps when i move i will get them all together for a video
