To the dude that said that Bach sucks live, I saw them in 89, and on the Use your Illusion tour with GnR. He hit every note and did a longer version of " I remember You" that blew the roof off the place. He can still rock it out he's got a new album that puts a lot of these young chaps to shame.

@Acekicken well that was in 98 or 99 which would be without solinger and without a new album, i wouldnt consider than a name change that was more of a side band. They didn't perform any skidrow songs when they did that.

Great band. Shame the singer is trying to live in Sebastian's shadow - singing wize- and can't adapt his OWN style on the song. Let's face it, there's only one man who can sing this song PROPERLY... Sebastian Bach! The original is ALWAYS the best.

It's not all about the singer... I'm not denying that Bach is amazing, but Skid Row is still together because the band wanted to still do the music. The guitarists are still good either way. And as far as trying to keep up with Bach, I don't think they could really do much better...

yep, but nikki does all new songs and no crue. i think sixx am sounds very different than the crue. as a teenager i grew attached to the specific people as a united collective playing the music. anyone else, outside of the originals, to me is an interloper. the new singer is good, but it's hard to replicate a song ingrained in memory by someone else.

Revolutions per Minute sucks, but Thickskin is a really good album. Solinger's got a good voice. Sebastian Bach has one of the best voices in music, and he's a great front man, but as much as I hate to see this, he's kind of a sissy little tool.

I haven't seen Skid Row with Sebastian, but I have seen videos of Skid Row with Sebastian, and it's no comparison. The new Skid Row is not something you should see. I personally thought this song would be one of the last they would play since it's one of their biggest hits.

I used to watch Johnny Solinger in Dallas when he was playing in his own band called Solinger. That guy really rocked, and I am proud to see him make it in such an awesome band. I wish he didn't have to be compared to Bach. If he'd continued on his own, he would have made his own name. It is like Gary when he tried taking Haggar's place in Van Halen. There is no doubt that he did well in Extreme, but he was just not right for VH. At any rate, long live Skid Row, and good luck Johnny!
