I have been trying desperately to regulate my sleep like normal people. I can't do it! I've tried many different things. I raise at 4PM and go to bed at 5AM. It's impossible for me to function during the day. During school I am tired all day regardless of how much sleep I got the night before - Even if I go to bed at 9PM and wake at 6AM. It's the reason I get terrible grades in school - I just can't function. Lately, I've been trying to go to bed at night, but I only can get 2 hours in.
"All living things on this planet evolved around this 24 hour clock". That is not exactly true is it - a rather misleading over-simplification. The 24 hour clock is an entirely artificial concept. Life evolved alongside the phases of day and night and the changing of the seasons (the four of which is also an artificial concept).
So really there are changes in the amount of light and temperature that affect evolution, which both vary greatly (depending upon where you are in the world).
I am a night owl and I dont want to become an early bird. But I hate my job because I HAVE to wake up in the morning and I cant go to sleep early. So I'm always tired. That really sucks!!!
