2 different type of documentary's...... this is about the culture of dance & clubs opposed to the music. I felt like the history of house left out alot if the NYC Influence. There would be no House music with out the masterminds of the NYC scene.....

@thickframes I agree with you. I think a lot of credit must also be given to the Jamaican Reggae Dub scene . Who were at least 5 years ahead when creating instrumental dance music on the B -SIDE OF DANCE Records! Its called Dub Reggae, However I think it was Larry Levan that was one the first American Dj's to use this influence in his ways of making records or Remixes.

Check out King Tubby, Reggae music producer. New York must also be given a huge ovation for it growth of club cuture though
