We can become a better people, a better nation again. We can return to human decency and fairness. Our elected representatives can take back their power and live beyond fear and war and bribes. What a buffoonery it is for a nation to think it can only teach the world and learn little or nothing from history and thinkers between 33 AD and 1776. We are too in love with ourselves and the American pantheon
