tramadol doesn't do anything to me no high or anything just gets rid of pain i like the high and pain relief it makes me feel comfortable. i had a Pulmonary embolism last month and they gave me this to help manage pain at home after my hospital stay i missed the morphine high but thats ok.

@jbluntfingers she is not taking 500 a month per a prescription. max dose is 400mg/day. even on a 37.5 mg tablet, she would be taking 626mg/day. if she is really taking that much, she needs to be sent to a dr. as that amount can ruin liver/kidneys.

The va wanted me to take ultramfor what I went through for uncle sam and I said fuck it. I see my privet doctor and he would give me what ever I want. He knows what it is like to be a vet and he knows what I am going through from my injurys.
@steadypaper your doctor sounds like an asshole. Tell him the weed helps with the pain and tell him you need more pain medication because the pain is too intense.. If that doesn't work find a new doctor. You should have to feel like you're being forced off of weed.

it takes 1-3 h before it starts, try to sit down or lay on a bed, sit at the computer, and then suddenly when u are up to piss or drink or sumt u get like oooh shit this is gooooooood.. i have back problems it helps me

The maximum recommended dose of tramadol is 100 mg at one time according to BNF (British National Formula). So dont take more. Instead try other painkillers like paracetamol or maybe combine paracetamol (in particular important not to overdose on paracetamol)and tramadol. But always consult your doctor before trying new medications and combinations.
