This isnt "backfiring" this is the unburned fuel getting lit from the quick shifter thats fitted( cuts the spark so you dont have to back off the throttle when shifting up)

Besides, he hardly lets le ride it, since he uses it every day to go to work, and even when he comes home it's too late. I'm happy with my 09 GSX-R600. Not the best or the fastest, but I look after it as if it were my own child. Respect your possesions, they costed a lot of money. People will only understand the value of a machine when it breaks down.

The fuel is not burned in the engine and as a normal gasoline comes through the exhaust and is burned by the heat of the exhaust and so there are flames.

FYI... On some race bikes people install a device that hooks up to the shifter, and when you are up-shifting momentarily kills the ignition. This allows you to shift much faster as you don't have to let off the gas or clutch. When it kills the ignition, the cylinder still gets fuel and air, so on the next fire sequence it pops, hence the flames.... They probably just hooked it up and were testing it.

Where this poorly tuned shit fuck load of gas is coming from that's still atomized after combustion, well Jesus might have put it there. I would like know, maybe you're some crazy ducati tech, but are these bikes running so inefficient

The popping and fire in the back of the bike is just cause by advancing the timimg. It takes some serious wear on the engine. But for race mods you gain a gooder 15% hp increase.

The little explosions are cause by a ',quick shifter', device which cuts the ignition when you shift gears( 50 to 80 milliseconds) ,so you do not have to close the throttle...the unburned gas in the exhaust system explode when ignition returns....

Yeah, and they create enough back pressure to damage your exhaust valve. Which is going to cost you more than the few milliseconds that the shifter might save you. They really aren't worth it especially because they aren't allowed in sanctioned race events.

Quick shifters have been legal for a long time now...the burnt exhaust valves is a myth...

I might also add that ,it is not so much a gain in milliseconds as much as an economy of movement from the rider part as he shifts..there is no jerking the handlebars because you do not shut the throttle and flick the clutch lever anymore; which could and will provoke instability ...and it is easier on the ''arm pumping'' syndrome...and rider fatigue in general...
