  • The sprites in this game are so DOPE! I wish they didn't go with that anime look though, I thought the aesthetic of the earlier Sengoku games was way more original.

  • lol this game is slow and shallow. The enemies are boring, and certain ones tend to be very cheap. And wow I have to combo the shit out of a fucking CHAIR to get it to fall apart and present some kind of lousy item pickup, did I mention the ingame tutorial doesn't tell you how to pick up items? it's with the B button, stupid tutorial tells you everything but that, so you get fucked on picking up food your first few plays.

  • Mit welchem Emulator?

  • This is a terrible lets play, the player has no idea how to use the combo system to really tear stuff up, he just uses the same slow one button combo over and over... you make this game look shallow when it's got one of the deepest combat systems of any scrolling beat'em up.

  • @alopexau

This is a terrible comment, the commenter has no idea how to read or he would have seen in the title the words "LONGPLAY" - nor does the commenter understand that Longplays are NOT about skill showcase!

  • @cubex55

I know a longplay isn't a skill video, but it's still there to show off a game. This player's technique looks like it almost goes out of it's way to make the game look slow and shallow... and if a longplay makes a game look less interesting than it is, it seems rather pointless to me.

Sorry, It just really stood out to me as there are scores of solid, enjoyable playthroughs on your channel that inspired me to either try, or replay a game, this one would have put me off.

  • @cubex55 BURNED!

  • @cubex55 This is also a terrible game, compared to Sengoku 2.

  • @mikeshredder233 You're wrong, sengoku 3 cartridge does not contains fx chip like snes cartridges but only decryption chip. Also, many neo geo games have very much better graphics than sengoku 3 & does not contains either fx graphic chip.

  • This is a really fun game. I sure hope it becomes available on the Wii's Virtual Console service along with its predecessors.

  • This game along with battle circuit are amazing beat em up games.

  • What difficulty was it played at? Looks waaay easy.

  • this game is my favorite of many games, where I can download the emulator and the room? somebody tellme please.

  • Great, deep gameplay, cool sound and amazing anime graphics that look pleasing even by today's standards! What's there not to love in this game? :D

Now, in this video ScHlAuChi makes the game look like an early Steven Seagal flick: The boring invincible hero kills everyone and doesn't get so much as a scratch on him. ScHlAuChi may not be a crowd pleasing swashbuckler whipping flashy combos left and right, but boy is he a survivor :O

    P.S.: Kagetsura, Falcon, Byakki = <3

I also love 3 out of 6 characters to death :P

  • brazil amazonia rio de janeiro

    yes brazil

  • This looks like a really cool game.

  • lloko

  • Where did you downloaded the rom and what emulator did you use?

  • Read our channel FAQ, and FinalBurnAlpha!

  • The mode played had fewer enemies than I had. How could that be???

  • I feel that is would be more like many other games if in the final boss battle, all the upper class minion foes appear as well as the upper class sword and spear warriors. I'm talking about green fat guys, blue bird guys, and purple ninja girls.

  • i Played through this reecently for the first time and this game is HARD. Its very enjoyable but really hard. This guy here know exactly what he is doing.

  • This game is just so awesome that it only makes you wonder why weren't there more games like this on the Neo Geo, all that technology was used (and sometimes wasted, in my humble opinion) in the oversaturated one-on-one fighting games market.

While the pace of the fights has been reduced significantly here and switching from the real to the spectral worlds has been removed, the game is still pure gold.

I just wish you had decided to change characters when the opportunity came. :(

    Greetings!

  • 7:50 Awesome finish! Bomberman style ownage!

    Great playthrough.

  • Is there by any chance a copilation for the PS2? Would be great!

  • Yes, there is! It's also on PC.

  • It's funny how the enemies get up from the ground just to scream and die.

    Very good playthrough !

  • CPS? What does mean Capcom here?, it was developed by Noise Factory and distributed by SNK in MVS hardware

    370 megs! YAY!

  • Great game. I remember playing it when it was new. Ahh, it was good times before arcades became extinct.

  • Personally, when I tried all of them out I found this Sengoku game the most enjoyable. Pity I still can't clear more than one stage on a single credit.
