britneys vocals are amazing. i just wish people wold realise that. her albums are not changed because she has a bad voice, they are just tweaked to give them the edge, the edge she wants them to have.
All you did was remove the backup vocals. This is like a main vocal mix. The pitch is still higher than it should be. Britney has a beautiful voice. I don't get why they like to make her sound like a chipmunk.
@Adam14charmedlover You got it all wrong. Britney's vocals are not pitch shifted. SHE sings with that technique to make her voice sound like that. Then the fine tuning of pitch happen and some effects and layering is done.
What I wish people would understand is that her voice is naturally unique, so adding any effects to it just make it sound manufactured. If you are a true fan you would realize that
@showoffverrado you are very right, i listened to some of her music without those effects and i personally think they should have released some of her songs without the effects added to her voice.
@ReMix3r7196 No, it's the main vocal mix, this is the original pitch in which Britney recorded this song in 2006, and if you notice there are no backup vocals, just autotune but no backup vocals.
@SportaMega it's not autotune, it's vocoder. Autotune fixes singing errors, vocoder adds effects to the voice but does not change it's tune. I don't think her songs have that much of autotune since it's mostly all layered vocals.
@NOBODYSANGEL9 yes. When a singer herself does backing vocals and support vocals to herself and even does whole song again. It's quite common to have robotic effect when vocals are layers as one voice is unique and will sound echoed when doubled ;)
@urosh1994 No, it is auto-tune, not a vocoder. Stop acting like you know what you're talking about when you clearly don't understand the editing process.
@urosh1994 you are partially correct. However a vocoder does change pitch. It's essentially very similar to auto tune only with more effect. Her songs frequently do not use vocoders or auto tune, instead producers and mixers will use a program called Melodyne. It is sort of like "manual auto tune" where individual notes can be fixed very subtly. If auto tune or a vocoder is being used in one of her songs it is most likely for effect rather than pitch correction.
=.=a I always love Britney no matter what...
and this is make me love her more.

@juicygurl1380 Not really. She's mimed all of her concerts, and the femme fatale tour was partly mimed, partly excessive playback.
