This game is probably the direct port from the arcade.Music is better (IMO),because Konami always favored the FM synthesis over tracker music which uses samples.

Unlike the SNES game, you don't have to beat the game on Hard; the ending is pretty much to same on Normal in this game.

What was the reviewer playing this on? The PSG sounds are outblasting the FM synth sounds and it just sounds funky. Please tell me it wasn't a firecore or one of those awful clones.

I really like seeing the CGR empire grow and develop. I enjoyed this review almost as much as if Mark had done it :). For a game released in 1992 this is excellent and is one of the best multiplayers for the console. It's full of pizza power and there's really no need to compare it to Turtles in Time because they're essentially the same and both are Konami's games.

I agree with Kevin on his views for the most part. I think Ray just enjoys making up things in favor of the Xbox 360, while Derek still has the best reviews. On CGR Undertow that is. Mark on the other hand just kicks ass in every category ever created.

One thing that is sorely lacking on youtube is proper multiplayer reviews.

You guys have a really big opportunity to grow by doing making your multiplayer reviews better by, well, playing them multiplayer.

I'm a huge local-multiplayer gamer, and if I could, I would do it myself.

Aladin, Ninja Turtles, Kevin seems all about the SNES vs Genesis versions lately. Which is not a bad thing at all. Nice perspective on things. Usually Mark just says somthing like "it's available for this or that other system but I'm playing this version." Nicely done Kevin.

You must have played and reviewed TMNT with the retron 3 because the PQM chip sounds are louder than normal.

With an original Sega console the music is awesome!

actually hyper stone heist was a combonation of turtles in time and tmnt the arcade game.and not a down port of turtles in time like most people may think,aldo turtles in time is a better game and the best side scrolling beat em up on the snes.
