Could someone help me as to how to use these patches? I have a Juno Stage, and I'm not sure what to do with the Zip file. I know I have to use the editor, but how do I extract the sounds I want into it? Also, can I only use these patches while connected to a computer, or could I save them on USB and use them for gigs? Thanks!
Just thought about buying a Juno-D or a KORG M-50. But now I bought an old KORG Trinity Pro X, and I think it´s still a great thing, although it has still a floppy disk drive instead of USB. What do you think?
@Space4Keys Even better than the new M50 with 88 keys? I was told that most of the sounds are the same like on the M3. But then I heard of someone, who just bought the Korg M50 and had a Triton LE before, that the same samples he used on the Triton, sound a little bit thinner on the M50.
Just got one today, and am SO JAZZED with it! I'm a very novice keyboard player but this thing makes me sound like I know what I'm doing LOL! Thanks for the GREAT demo!
Do you know if the Juno-D has a loop setting on it? I'm new to the keyboard and synth world and don't know much about them. If it does, could you try and explain to me how to find it?
So far this is the best Juno-D demonstration on You Tube that I could find. Watching this makes me more and more excited about it. im getting mine in a couple days. Awsome work on the demo. Very nice!
@jhulz525 I'm fairly certain anything by Roland murders anything by Casio. In the keyboards world, I've always thought of Casio as a total joke. Their sounds are lame, their keyboards are cheap and weak, and they have extremely limited options.
Go Roland, especially if you're trying for the D, or maybe you could save a little more and get the upgraded Juno Di instead.
@RaidonSama Same. The sounds have no power in them, and the keys light up sometimes! And for someone like me who doesn't do alot of writing or patch making on the keyboard, the D is great.
Juno D! Don't even take time to think about it..., Juno D wins HANDS DOWN and is 10 times more pro orientated than the MM6/PSR Motif wanna-be. The MM6 has some decent sounds, but that's where it stops! Juno is built better.., is a real synth and not a poser like the MM6.
YES! Get your hands on the NEWER Juno D model. The current Juno D is the Juno D Le (limited edition). It has twice the ROM as the classic Juno D and one of the new patches is a very good acoustic piano. Strings are good.., Brass isn't really its strongest point, but there are some decent brass patches in there.
Space4Keys is right.., there is no USB port on the Juno-D. To use a Juno-D with a computer by USB connection you'll need to purchase a midi to USB converter.
Solid Snake on piano.
