John..I have seen you before at either the Southeastern Wildlife Expo in Myrtle Beach, SC or possibly at the Carolina Raptor Center in Charlotte NC..I used to do volunteer work there..when I heard about what you did for Osceola, I was moved to tears..every time I see this video I get very emotional..thank you for giving the gift of flight back to Osceola..I often wonder if he is still living...God bless..
I tear up every time I look at this. I had the honor of meeting you & Osceola in 2001 at the AEF. I had volunteered in NYS with Peter Nye monitoring eagles so they were better able to gauge when the right time for banding would be. My cousin is Karen Wilbur. I have amazing pictures and video from our trip there. Thank you for giving this to Osceola. I hope you will be able to fly again. Is he with you or still at AEF?
I was watching this with tears running down my face and my husband asked what was wrong. He started watching after I told him the story and we both got teary. What a beautiful video. Thank you so much for posting it.
Made me cry like a baby! To think that eagle was up where he belongs again ... did you see the way he was looking around at everything?? And the time when John turned to look back at him ... Osceola looked him right in the eye as if to say THANK YOU!! The look they exchanged! Oh my, how he must love that eagle!!
Thank you for that vid! Thank you for helping Osceola fly free once again!
Reading about you and Osceola had me sniffling. Your wonderful video has me in tears. Bless you for giving Osceola the chance to soar on the wind once more. That must be what Walking the Beauty Way really means.
Thanks to all of you that have commented on the video. It goes to show that if you believe you can achieve and if you have the opportunity to give something back, do it!
This is just breathtaking. If we could all love all animals great and small wouldn't this world be a better place? Take everyone and allow them to have such a loving experience like this. I think this shows a greatness of human and humane person. Thank you for the love you are teaching to others.
Thank you for you kind comments! I simply wanted to give him back something that had been taken away. Maybe one day we can fly together again. Take care!
Thanks so much for posting this John. I haven't been able to watch it because my VCR might eat the tape. Now I can watch it whenever I want to. Miss you all.
That was great ! I'm so glad you've taken the time along with your wife to work with nature and show how people can make a difference. I'm very glad to have met you guys, thanks for the video. John Nuchols
