People like the mediocre. They don't like innovation. Halo 3 is solidly made but its Halo 2 with better graphics, which is pretty much Halo 1 with better graphics. Also- it broke cash records, not sales records. WoW has more sales than Halo 3. Bioshock has a better input on the PC. keyboard+mouse>controller for FPS games. I prefer the controller for things like fighting and platforming games, though.

You have to pay for Xbox Live, and that kinda sucks. Besides MMOs, most online systems are free

you dont have to play for xbox live silver membership is free its gold you have to pay for if halo 3 is halo 2 with better graphics which is halo 1 with better graphics than that means everyother sequal to every other game is the last version with better graphics theres different weapons, maps, objectives, games, features, and graphics doesnt sound mediocre to me new anything with a solidly built story plot is innovative i would choose WoW over halo SOMETIMES but not all the time

Halo has a mediocre science fantasy plot at best. And yes, I was referring to the Xbox Live gold account. You can't play with silver. Of course there are a couple new weapons but the engines are mostly the same and the mechanics are mostly the same. The jump from Halo 1 to Halo 2 was bigger than the jump from Halo 2 to Halo 3. Starcraft 1 also has more sales. Halo is just a run of the mill science fiction shooter set in an uninspired universe with uninspired super soldiers and lame aliens.

its imagination and i dont believe that theres nothing new. new gametypes such as infection, juggernaut, and rocket race. theres new weapons such as the spartan laser, brute spiker, mauler, and the more powerful non dual weildable needler. new vehicles such as the mongoose, hornet, chopper, and prowler. New weapons doesn't mean the game is a whole new thing, especially when the weapons act a lot like the old weapons. The engine is mostly the same; the gameplay is equally slow.
