Hey guys! If you like criminal minds and the quotes, follow me on twitter @CM_Quotes or on tumblr at criminalminds4you.tumblr.com You won't regret it I promise =D
I love how in this episode they have now made you think that reid could have inherited schizophrenia from his mom. Soon to be followed up in season 2.
In answer to the question: People are stupid, but a person can be intelligent. A genius would naturally view the rest of the world as crazy because of its seeming ignorance & (beyond diversity) segregation. The others aren't crazy all the time, but they are (we are) often crazed. (I don't claim to be a genius & never will.)
True Free energy devices exist,But a few ppl make too many billions from our energy needs to let this technology be known,Check this free energy magnet motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Start the revolution!
I don't think any two minds could EVER think completly alike, therefore evereyone is crazy, because no ones minds conform to any definition of "sane" and if they did, they would be different from everyone else, which would also make them crazy.
@ILoveGiraffe23 Good point. Sometimes I feel crazy because I don't seem to think the way most people around me do. I usually need to end up confirming what someone means when they ask me a question because, more often than not, it can be interpreted as having multiple answers, and I'm not sure which one they want me to give. Am I making any sense?
That is one of many great quotes I have heard not only on this show, but around elsewhere. The question I suppose is asked rhetorically, but if it were to be answered, I would probably say that said "craziness" or insanity is equal in everyone and that pure sanity can never and will never be attained.
I personally love this episode, you finally get some insight into Reid's mind as a person, to see how he feels about himself when he's talking to the Bryant guy...this quote has become one of my favorites.
In one episode he says schizophrenia runs in the family (i.e. his mother). I think as the show progresses we will see his character dealing with some mental issues.
I think we've been there and done that enough for now. I think a lot of Reid's concerns were addressed with 'The Instincts' and 'Memoriam'. Yes, schizophrenia is genetic, and Reid was/is justifiable concerned. Most people would be, but that doesn't mean he'll be schizophrenic himself. I really hope this show does not go there. It's one thing to have a hard time dealing with the job and what happened to him, it's another to make him really mentally ill.
@WheresMyKoppy I don't think he has inherited the schizophrenia.
S. usually manifests when you are young and he has never shown any symptoms so far, e.g. hallucinations, paranoia or extreme selfishness and arrogance.
He is past the usual age of onset, though it can happen at any age. He is realy not that likely at this point in the show to develop schizophrenia. A lot of the characters (Reid) fears have been allayed by explanations of some of his flashbacks and his maturing without any symptoms. So I don't think he inherited it either.
@Night444Wind I have worked with them, and trust me, the only reason the "know", is because of everybody else around them is telling them so. If nobody told them, they would not have known.
@HmR91 i think the word "normal" people have altered to people of there liking when the truth is, no ones normal, if were all normal and not crazy, we would not know what we know today, because we would have never tried. so if the word normal must be then the definition should be different!!!! thats what i think. if im making sense
I think he is, that's sortof the point of that scene just before this video, to make you wonder whether he was really putting on an act when saying all that stuff to the Bryant-guy...
I was totally awed by that ending, and I can't get that quote out of my head..
I love this.

Reid must feel so alone, being as awesomely intelligent as he is! No one, save Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory, is even close to his level!
