@LCStreetPhotographer sry, be honest F22 is the best for now, eurofighter doesnt even come close to F22. infact french made rafael is just good as typhoon or better. i agree you that J10 cannot compare with the typhoon because they are different class! typhoon weight much more and bigger plane overall. J10 should be compare with f16/f2/gripen class. to be honest..even Su35m and F15se is better than typhoon because simiply they are more capable of carrying heavier load.

@segregator236: You aren't serious, the JL-10 Radar does have a max Range of 100km, and the Captor-C can track a 1m² target at 185km. The J-10B isn't stealthier, what is your Source? The J-20 would be, but not the J-10B. The Eurofighter does have RAM too. What? The Eurofighter is much faster than J-10B, & it does even have the better Range. The RAF may have the best pilots, the Chinese can't keep up. They can't even make Fighters without help from other Countries & Technologies.

J-10B does not use JL-10. It uses a new AESA with 1200 T/R modules. Euroradar's 1100 modules will not give it a range of 185 against a 1 m target.

J-10B is stealthier due to its (1) smaller size (2) use of more composites: 50% as opposed to Eurofighter's 40% (3) use of extensive RAM (4) DSI intakes that hide fan.

Eurofighter will not have a greater thrust to weight ratio. Speed does not determine maneuverability. Range does not help during fights.

@segregator236: You have proven you don't know anything about the Eurofighter Typhoon, it uses the Captor-C Radar, which can track a 1m² target at 185km, the Captor-E is in development & will be better. ( 1500 Modules ) With Speed you can outrun enemy fighters, and the russians couldn't win in the Cold War because they had no aerial refueling aircraft, they could fly to the US, but they couldn't fly back to Russia, with this low range. Of course it is important.

Nowhere did I read that the Euroradar will have 1500 t/r modules. The highest estimate I read was around 1100 modules. You do not know that the Eurofighter is faster than the J-10B, when its fuselage weight hasn't been released yet.

The Russian Tu-95s are able to reach the US. Their fighter will operate off carriers.

@segregator236: It's named "Captor-E" look for it. The Eurofighter is much faster than J-10. And the russian TU-95 are are joke compared to the B-52's. The MIG-35 may be superior to the F-22, if you have the better pilot, but in BVR.. no chance. Not even the PAK FA. The F-22 isa about 10x stealthier than the F-117, according to the RCS.

The Euroradar that you are talking about does not have that range you stated. The highest estimate I got was 120 km for a 1 m^2 target. That would be very similar to the extrapolated value for a 1100 T/R module radar.

Tu-95 are able to fly to US shoreline and that is enough for their mission. Whether nor not it has better load or range relative tot he B-52 is unimportant.

@segregator236: Seriously? Even the APG-63V2 ( V4 is in development ) of the F-15 can track a 1m² target at 145km. You're may talking of the old basic variant, the ECR-90. Im talking of the new Captor-E. ( 2014 ) The B-52 is faster, it can reach Russia before they would reach the US, the B-52 can fly higher, out of missile range, the B-52 can fly further, and can load more bombs, & not to forget, we have more B-52's, than Russia has TU-95's. It's VERY important.

To those who still think that the J-10b is a copy of the eurofighter: open ur eyes and look at the intake of the J-10b. It's a dsi intake. This technology was first applied on the x-35jsf. The Chinese air force developed their own and used it on JF-17 and J-10b. The intake of the eurofighter is NOTHING like the dsi. Also, look at the forward-sweptwings of both aircrafts. The positions are totally defferent.

The Chinese PL-12, PL-12C, and PL-21 all outperform the Meteor.

J-10B also uses 5th-generation avionics that are much superior to that of the Eurofighter. J-10B uses AESA radar.

J-10B also is much stealthier than the Eurofighter, using DSI and RAM to achieve a RCS of 0.3 m.

J-10B also has TVC from the WS-10B engine, which will give it an agility advantage.
