  • ...passion, grace and fire

  • love this.

  • wow!!

  • if these trees could talk, they would say how much they hate us...

  • @a110075 о да...))

  • This song makes me feel more depressed and happy at the same time...

  • no need to say a word.....

  • I stumbled upon this video by pure fluke. What a great fluke!

  • it involved god to write such song

  • @dankcro or a lot of drugs

  • @Snowbound2643 drugs, sounds so weak. depends what are we talking about

  • @TheEnd004500 ah man cant thank you enough for the name of this awsome kickin band.

  • If These Trees Could Talk - kill again - Great Stuff

  • @TheEnd004500 thanks for putting the link in the vid :) Great piece of music!

  • @TheEnd004500 ahaha this is the song from your video

  • Good song to listen to on a bus in the morning hehe

  • My thinking song!

  • Mental masturbation. Nuff' said.

  • one of the best post rock band!

Search "So above so below - Remembrance of things past"

    only recently discovered them!

  • Wow, I'm surprised I didn't fall asleep there.

  • @JrvUnleashedMusic You didn't fall asleep because its good music and you just don't realise it yet

  • @MrSpartan27

    Yep, that's the reason...

Has nothing to do with my genre of preference involving heavily distorted guitars and 1-2 minute guitar solos.

  • @JrvUnleashedMusic I once would have agreed with you but the truth is even if you this isn't your genre of music you cannot deny the talent involved in making something like this, the quality of this music far surpasses that of the music your describing if my assumptions are correct...

  • @MrSpartan27

    HAHAHAHAHA

Buddy, I'm a music major and I write Classical Music for Orchestra, this stuff is child's play. I happen to know that the skill required in performing and creating a heavy metal or classic rock song FAR surpasses this repetitive, slow, uneventful garbage.

  • @JrvUnleashedMusic The only people who care about musical complexity are anti-Bieber elitists. I love technical shit like Protest the Hero, but this kind of music is completely different. Bands like this and Mono are absolutely amazing. Quality of music isn't just about technicality.

  • @Onimyst

Or, you know, people who prefer to listen to music that doesn't put them to sleep.

  • @JrvUnleashedMusic Meh. It's a genre you have to get into to appreciate it.

  • @JrvUnleashedMusic Didn't you just say you're in school for classical music..? That is documented as a sleeping aid. Fact.

  • @MrSpartan27 Don't feed the troll! lol. Besides he posted "Eminem is the most hardcore rapper ever." so you know there's nothing going on upstairs anyway.

  • @34Lyre haha, your right, nice way of putting it too

  • post rock with a pulse! this is what i need!

  • Added to favorites. Please continue. Another great band is Russian circles. Any suggestions please contact this woodpecker from mars that planted trees.

  • @pullbackbaby listen to irepress probably one of the best bands ive ever heard

  • @pullbackbaby I must thank you, I actually looked them up after reading your comment 7 months ago, lol.

  • God is an Astronaut, "Godspeed You! Black Emperor", Russian Circles, Explosions in The Sky, Red Sparowes, This Will Destroy You, Mono - All great post rock/metal groups to check out if you're into this kind of music.

  • @beanner17 Thanks beanie baby ;)

  • @beanner17 And Tides from Nebula is a really good new Post-Rock band from Poland.. Check em out, oh and Caspian is great

  • Lol love the description

I recommend you guys to search for "God is an Astronaut", they've good music too. You won't regret about it, trust me :)

  • As good as it sounds by itself i think a singer would make this soooooo much better but either way these guys are fucking good

  • I really like this, it relaxs me! Edgy...Russian Circles-ish

  • For the people who like this kind of music, but prefer it a little heavier, check out My Sleeping Karma

  • @SkyValleySpaceCadet thanx for the suggestion,i really like them!any other?

  • buena musica!

  • Its refreshing to hear an active , original drummer..i feel like the only one in 80% of the world to have not heard ITTCT before.

(this song) not particularly awe inspiring. with no ability to garner any (true) hate.

    like i said.

    Refreshing.

  • i don't like it very much but i can't deny this is good music

  • i like how people say it is repetitive but only have the ability to hear one part... it is amazing the overlap of all the different parts being played perfectly to fit together with everything else that is being played... post-rock forever

  • . . . the song after this 1; on the album, called; The Death of Paradigm. It is undeniably amazing, if you love this band as much as I do, you should find this whole album.

    But then agian-you are your own soul;

  • AWESOME ,,

    Post-Rock for life

  • The 2 dislikes aren't dislikes just ppl with bad hand-eye cordination

  • Why is there a dislike button on this I wonder...

  • post rock is like a river...it flows, sometimes faster, sometimes slower, but it's always flowing, it's always going somewhere. it's the process that matters, not the arrival.

  • @fizzgigify well said. couldn't agree more.

  • i like post rock, i like instrumental music, this sounds so good, but i think i would be better whit vocals... just what ai thot

  • @Bananinasdasd I don't like vocals much in post-rock. The music should do the speaking, not the lyrics.

  • As soon as I heard this, I had an image About a tall tree, it changed color whenever it sensed danger. A different color for a certain degree of danger. If the danger was inevitable, it would burn itself. A tribe of uncontacted natives followed the tree's "signal" of warning. Idk, just an instant image.

  • @RobTheBerserker1 love that thought dude... write a story based on it..

  • @RobTheBerserker1

there's probably some truth in that image rob

  • 100 percent one of the best songs i have ever heard

  • describe it with feeling!

  • that's what's nice about instrumental music;

you either are a super fucking fan, or it's like "eh.. not for me"

  • @jackamomo630 so true, i just got into it a couple weeks ago and i love it! Jakob, God is an astronaught...sooo good

  • You can't imagine how much I love this song.

  • Who needs vocals?...everything you need to understand is being told via instruments.

  • Comment removed

  • @tooldruid I could use a healthy doze of harsh vocals once in a while.

  • If these fucking trees could talk....

  • exactly man

  • 3.34 amazing

  • No words... just feeling.

  • @100percentrekkie i second that

  • Great track!

  • nice picture,

    nice music,

    5/5 stars :)

  • wow, today is the first time ive heard this group, n im likin it. its good shit to listen to when yur tryna relax the mind or get sumthin done. this and malabar front, good shit

  • i love this song, on par wth malabar front at the moment

  • A DET GÖTT FAN

  • just the way i like it, no voice to ruin it. allows us to fill in the gaps, paint pictures, and visions.

  • ITTCT ROCKS

  • IIIIIIIIII LOVEEEEE ITTTT!!!!! very f. much :D it`s POWER!

  • good music tends not to be popular or mainstream, and that's partially why it's so good.

  • @JLM13579 Agreed, too much hype just downgrades the enjoyment for me, i never really knew why it's just not as good for me when it's over hyped even though its good music (i.e. Linkin Park, Muse, etc.)

  • @JLM13579 I would kill myself if I found these songs on top 10 in iTunes. They certainly deserve top 10, but I don't want to see all of my friends listening to this I'd rather keep it a secret. :)

  • @JLM13579 even though i liked this i didn't intend too aha

but i must say i completely disagree

while i'd say this is true in a lot of cases, i don't think it's fair to say that of all mainstream music

i'm a big fan of deftones, and i'd say they're pretty damn mainstream but still write the music they want.

i think if anything they deserve more credit for having the balls to stand up and refuse to write what theyre told.

that said, these guys are incredible, and my ears can't get enough

  • @JLM13579 *Cough*hipster*cough*.

  • @JLM13579 if this song was mainstream it would say something different about the society.

  • @JLM13579 That's WHY it's so good.

  • i agree they should be extremely popular with music like this.

  • well its true they should be realy famous (like many other post rock bands) but i couldnt imagine every little scene kid listening to jakob and mogwai cause they saw it on Mtv! underground!

  • stayng underground is good for evrey band.

  • i cant believe that these songs arent like really popular they are just amazin

  • What kinda music would this be considered?

  • Post-rock / Post-metal

  • wow, this song is just.... AMAZING!

  • Absolutely amazing....I love how this band always leaves me speechless. =]

  • its the same band. the band is called if these trees could talk, the song is malabar front. dnt say anything unless u know wut u r talkn bout

  • You shouldnt say anything either, if you cant even speak and write proper English. ;[

  • its called text talk. as long as u can tell wut im saying then u will get over it. if u want me to spell rite then i will but honestly if u cant figure it out then that is pretty bad

  • Its called intelligence. As long as I cant see any from you I wont care. So that's honestly pretty bad. Your a moron. Period.

  • O'k kinabear, since you're to dumb to figure out how to read my writing, I will spell right just for you. You are the moron btw (that means by the way kinabear, wasn't for sure if you was smart enough to figure that out ;]) now please kinabear, shut up :]

  • Comment removed

  • my point is, don't worry about some one's spelling on the net, and don't say anything if you don't know what you are talking about. That was my only points :] now continue with your day and don't reply :P

  • Rofl. Yea if we're going strictly off grammar they are both pretty damned retarded. Reading your comment gave me a good laugh buddy.

  • do u even know wut we r talking about or did u just decide to say sumtn to spark another argument???

  • Is that your rebuttal you fucking moron? Dude, learn how to say something else that actually has a point rather than spouting out random insults.

  • once again u prob dont know wut i was talkn bout either. sumbody put on here that this song was by a band called malabar front. i basicly just told him/her that malabar front is made by this band wich is if these trees could talk. he never replied back instead i got like 12 thumbs up an now 3 jackasses who dont even know wut the argument is about.

  • No the band is If These Trees Could Talk, 'Malabar Front' is one of there songs (infact its the song thats used for the 'The Beauty of Power' trailer

  • thats just wut i said. except witout the beauty of power trailer lol

  • yeah that song is terrific°!!!

  • 1:53 riff is the best ive ever heard

  • awesome.

  • must have this on CD...
