  • nmbugua,i agree with you completely. We must have law and order, and should not allow kenya to be governed by jungle rules.People from the Rivt valley,Central,Eastern,Western,Coast, etc, etc should and must not get compensation for grabbing watercatchment areas.Even women should follow the law,not give birth while living in the grabbed area, then expect pity and free land.We kenyans are saying NO!.The Government should stand firm on this matter..

  • Thank you Bensondgutu.Well said!!

  • bensongutu you have said it all thanks. thumps up.

  • Methinks the hullabaloo is just a smokescreen. I believe the dissenting politicians are the biggest grabbers and are out to protect the land they stole.

I care for women and children, but that does not give them license to encroach and destroy forest land - otherwise, are they proposing that land-grabbing is the most preferable method of land acquisition?

  • MP Zakayo Cheruiyot, MOI, and other politicians grabbed Mau land - and SOLD IT TO THESE WANANCHI... now, the wananchi are the ones suffering and NO ONE dares touch the big men who stole the land first. Not even the Nation is mentioning. Not even AG Wako. Not even the politicians who raised money. NOT EVEN YOU guys who are blaming the small man. What is wrong with Kenya????

  • Well, the small man knows who sold him stolen land - he (the small man) should go and as the big man for his money.... and the small man should be careful not to buy stolen land again. If you lost your phone today and you found me with it, you sure will ask me to return it - never mind that I may have bought it from someone else... that's the law!

  • there must be a law and order. if we allow people to grab forests then claim compensation, then tomorrow i will grab a part of karura then down the line, i will get some free cash. lets end this nonesense, kick them out but in a humane way.

  • Raila should not be threatened and shaken by those opportunists. We are fully behind the PM is saving the Mau.

  • Why is this govt. fighting itself and its own people. They should just resign and give the mandate run affairs of the people to capable leaders that can agree to work for the common good of the people and of the environment.

  • & how is the govt fighting its own people? mau has to be protected at all costs & only people with legal documents will be compensated......

moi, biwott, ruto and the other corrupt hombres who live in the RV should donate some of their land....

  • do you want moi to donate land. Do you know moi is the fat fish in rift vlley and other members of goverment like , moi have 5777hectares mau gidion have 5546hectares zacayo cheriot ruto and others, why they dont want to give the land back to the goverment so that . we can tell more abuot this people ok mr.

  • dude you don't even make sense....

  • ok fat dude ,you suonds like tribal master, so what do you do?, to help uor poor fellow kenyans? we as agoverment we know that the people who are talking like you have no place to fit in kenya now . kenya is new my freind ok open your eyes .

  • no need to call me names. As far as am concerned, i only called for the RV "bigshots"....... ......thieves to be precise donate some of their land to the evicted persons.

This is not too hard to ask for, considering these guyz own thousands of hectares.

now, you do not have to agree with me but stop trying to needlessly stir up a fight.

hii story ya kurushiana mawe ka watoi tuache, poa?

Thats the new kenya for you...

  • You are absolutely right omg! I never thought of it that way. The Kenyan government fights itself and it people! what kind of govt. is this?
