  • Great song. Wonderful voice.

  • What a wonderful song and a wonderful singer. Compare his appearance and manner with those on the Eurovision these days. How things have changed, sadly not always for the better. You can't beat a good tune and this is a great tune. How could it not have won?!!! I guess coming second wasn't too bad a night! Thanks for posting this. Great to watch.

  • @Nick15505 I agree, shoulda won.

  • I sung there!!!!

  • This should have won!

  • I meant the united kingdom of great britain and northern ireland

  • Why does the French commentator call it an English song, when it was the entry for the whole of the United Kingdom of Great Britain? I'm Scottish, so as a Citizen of the UK I am represented by it, but I have never been and never will be English.

Come on Frenchy get your facts right!

  • Brilliant, thank you. We didn't have a TV in 1960, but learned this song at Mexborough St John's C of E School with E B Popple. Brings back many happy memories.
