no, those are proper push-ups. Hips are not supposed to touch the ground - that'd be very difficult! Girl push-ups are when your knees are resting on the ground while you perform ur push-ups.
Those things are Not necessary in my opinion. There are PLENTY of good ab exercises that dont require those things and show better results. Just eat right and dont limit yourself to just doing crunches and you will be fine.
