@Bruinsfan961 Its not banned, it comes out every few years like many of their films. Last time was the mid 80's, even shown in theaters. The racist myth has been around for a long time, no one seems to know where it comes from, including the NAACP. They next expect to re-release sometime after 2012.

Disney hasn't released an "official" VHS or DVD of "Song of the South" in America nor has the film been shown in American theaters in over 20 years. However, there's plenty of bootleg copies available on the internet (I enjoy mine!).
