It's actually difficult to compare Dan and Jack because they play very different styles. Jack tends to use a pick more often. Dan fingerpicks a lot in order to create "bass" grooves along with the higher notes. As a result, he's usually not able to be as flashy as Jack. But if you watch some of Dan's solo vids with a full band, you'll find he can tear it up when he uses a pick.

To really compare, you'd have to ask them to play the same song, and that's unlikely to ever happen.
