I've had something like that before. Press and hold F8 right after the first screen shows with all the white text on a black background. When it asks you to choose what mode to start Windows in, choose Safe Mode. It should look normal. Or if you can still find your way around the fucked-up screen, set your screen to a lower resolution. Repeat until it looks normal again. It worked for me, and it might work for you.

the fact that u use avast makes this hacker hungry to infect your pc lol. avg catches viruses in nanoseconds and with avg you can actually take a virus and return it to sender.. cause u can decompile the virus in its raw frozen state. i dont like the latest version of avg.. 7.5 was good though ;) and you guys, perhaps your right or wrong about the graphics card.. but a really good virus could go in and scramble the iobus :) to the poster of the video. emulate a grahx card ;) ;)

AVG catches viruses in minutes

It got an major problem with rootkits and zero day trojan. AVG was never good, it HAS IMPROVED VASTLY which of an AVG hateboi is difficult to say actually.

I dont use Avast as I know its trouble with rootkits, I use comodo defence + with Norton internet security and a few anti malware tools. Norton is light, and it does a fairly good scanning job though I dont expect it to do perfect :)

This is when the system is infected, if you do not know this your an idiot.

AVG has trouble with all kind of viruses and is no better then Avast or Avira. AVG has tricked its users into a shitty product,

Thanks to that they have gotten an huge user base and the performance it has, is really shitty compared to its numbers of users.

There is something like a zero day virus as when a newly coded viruses appears, its undetected (in most cases) and with a new internal code.

AVG has had rootkits problem since day one with "AVG has been corrupted", this problem only concerns AVG and I have seen 1 review recently getting at that, show me that on Avira or Avast?.

Norton however is great at checking around inside your system for whats programs are trusted or not and an scan once in a while. I use Comodo Defence + (settings tweaked) for my main virus barrier. YOu do not repair PCs from Asia, US etc, your just one of those Apple/Android hateboiz who says "I own an iMac and it sucks, I own an Android phone but it sux haha ima getting a iPhone 4" etc. Nope sry 13 year old wannabe kid.

My friend, codes viruses and hacks. AVG, Avast avira etc is the easiest to bypass. I just consider vast more feature rich and overall better. Norton is fine but I need Defence + to supplement it with 2 anti malwares.

I highly doubt this is a virus. This looks too much like a graphics card fault. If you have an On-board graphics card, I would suggest replacing it anyway with a PCI/PCI-e card. The computer I'm using right now has a burned out integrated graphics card, lucky for me I had an old, spare GPU laying around.

My only complaint is this video was tagged wrong. I highly doubt a virus could do this, and if one existed it -would- go public. lol
