It's sad to see that everyone has so many misconceptions about Pitbulls. What most people don't realize is that some people get these dogs specifically to fight them. They train them up to be mean. They chain them to trees and don't feed them for days at the time. If raised properly from a puppy and given the love and attention they deserve, they are very loyal and protective. Don't misjudge these poor animals just because they are big and strong, and singled by people who want to fight them.

they shouldnt be banned... they are loving dogs its the people and the way they train them to be. i have one shes a year and a couple months. shes so playfull i have 2 younger siblings they are a little rough but she doesnt mind. she acts motherly with them she loves to be around them and play. she gives them kisses. <3

@94babyyvee STFU! Why do you think dog fighters speciality choose this breed? Because its in their nature to fight. Yes no all are aggressive but i have not yet met a single one that i could trust that wouldnt hurt me. They are so unpredictable. Why would you risk not banning them? Have you seen the people killed and attact on dvd from pitbulls. Only 1/4 were fighting, the rest were just the average 'family' pitbull.Its good that their banned. There are more safe and loving dogs out there.

Most pits out there are rescues, and the majority of them have a history of fighting. We kill more pits than they kill us. Are you going to live the rest of your life afraid of humans because some have a murderous history? No. That would be ridiculous.
