Such sweet memories of my old HS. The sound had me smiling like a Cheshire Cat.
My mates dad used to spray the Blydenstein race cars. I wish I had it now. 16mpg would ruin me now. Twin 48's and a modified head. Very fast, noisy but such great fun.
That was the one I owned and had the engine re-built by John Noble. It was really fast and sounded like that, I loved reving it of the clock. oh the people who's heads that car used to turn. It was fast as F*CK. lol
Thats not an engine-thats a musical instrument! Sadly, they don't make hot hatches like this any more, all torque and rear wheel drive. You can keep your Ford Fungus ST/Golf gti etc, Ill take an HSR (or mybe a Lotus Sunbeam, if I must). The crazy thing is, you could probably buy an early Fungus ST for what it would cost for a good HSR :(
That soundtrack is so sweet to the ears! I need it as a ringtone for my phone.
