  • That s super advanced.... And how these claytronics can module it's texture and temperature??? Could it be interesting.

  • A 3d Poly mass can instandly used with this claytronic tool?, thats kinda awesome! :)

  • pff... bythe time something like that's about cars will be obsolete

  • wonder what it would feel like on your dick?

  • I like the color of the car and suitable for small families

It should be nice to drive as everyone would like to have a BMW car with them.

  • its just an emerging technology..... not fake////

  • Bucky balls on steroids

  • fucking fake!!!!

  • @sergeant5027 You only wish it were.

P.S. T-1000, If you're reading this, I was totally rooting for you in Terminator 2.

  • lol it seems anytime new tech comes out america finds away to kill stuff with it lol

  • imo Its "technology" like this that is taking the fun out of things. Car designs are supposed to be a form of art, someones imagination and creativity. Not a fancy Rubicks Cube. Its because of things like this that anyone can make stuff and the ones with ACTUAL talent get lost in the crowd...

  • dose it exists reali??? can i buy it???

  • well I suppose it's possible but structural strength will likely be a problem.

and shiny surfaces is REALLY hard. that takes terminator level tech.

  • and you think than it's like nano combinaison like in th ecrysis game ? ? ? ?

  • the people working on it say that it should be on the market in 5 years

  • i wonder if it can form a hollow mask around your face..that would be badass.

  • lol. Who cares about cars? We need to work out a way to kill shit with this.

  • @TheNAWorks hahahahahahaha! that was hilarious.

  • you have that super tech infront of you and what do you do make a franken-car JEEEZZ

  • tech not of this world?

  • i think this is way below the ability of the human race

  • amazing think, I can't wait to play this :D

  • Since they're all tiny computers, wouldn't they be able to be hacked and thus anyone could change anything in your home?

  • @ECReaper i dont think they connect to any satellite so no, unless u manually hack it and re program it

  • The music at 0:06 was COOL!

  • come on lets be honest if this technology actually existed the firstthing men would think about would be sculpting dicks...no im not gay....alot of men randomly talk draw and like creating phaluses....dont know why tho

  • Weapons, weapons, so many weapons ...mwuhahahaaaa ....

  • @DonDonTiribom interesting!!!

  • Its now real so just amagine miranda kissed you

  • City: Tokyo

    Time: 10:00AM

    Weather: Sunny

    Year: 2095

    Operating System: Windows 3000

  • Claytronics

    A.K.A

    THE NEW LEGO!!!

  • that doesn't look like its gonna happen anytime soon, like say, 50 years xP

  • Good idea the china have to make it!!!

  • @leonidhaimov The China? LOL, if the Chinese invent that, it will be a bunch of Chinese guys taking each of the tiny metal balls and gluing them together one by one.

  • @MastermindX rofl

  • imagine if it got a virus

  • @26dragon93 LOL IT WILL ONLY BECOME A DILDO...

  • if they made morphable car and it morphed while someone was in it... lets just say'd be screwed....

  • Amazing idea but I can't imagine anything worse than letting a board of directors fiddle with your car design at leisure.

Please leave such things up the industrial designers and engineers who know what they're doing.

  • this is far, far, away, but they are working on it.

  • lol, that looked ugly... oh wait! its typical american car! :O

  • trick photography, absolutly not possible with todays technology

  • @malmailbggb no duh! read the description

    Awesome concept btw

  • bulshit

  • This is easier and cheaper to make with virtual reality.

  • Yeah, it runs off of Windows 44 and, are generation is long gone.

  • if anybody get more information on this... pls inform me... pls its a request..its for my seminar...

  • More info on Discovery Science. I don't know the tv-program anymore...

  • I think this is a great start to what this technology can do. Have you seen the crazy morphing suitcase video? See claytronics in action and how it can really help us in the future!

  • i can't wait to make a lightsaber out of this crap

  • bahaha XD

  • imagine the perfect girl I could build with that

  • i'm with you...forget the car

  • @nycewheels

lol you need a blow up wife!!!

  • @nycewheels Which is possible, you could give her big tits and ass if you want too :P

  • everyone knows it fake but think of technology down the road it may come true. =).

  • its not fake you should of seen the prototype on the science channel

  • Unreal!

  • I would die to have this system!!!!!! I wish it can be realized some day... All good Sci-Fi ideas eventually turns into reality, like the car, video phone calls, internet, etc -why shouldn't this follow?

  • It may not be real but whoever thought it up must be an idealist. But we better do it quick until other countries like England, Germany or ( Gasp ) Japan get there hands on this! We got YouTube. We can do this.

  • they are already making prototypes for the army like a hammer that turns into a wrench and shit its pretty cool cant wait till they mainstream this

  • Aww man, we're too late. lol..

  • My great grand children might be dead when this comes out.

  • Fake. It's actually just Jello that they painted

  • fake

  • well der

  • hahahahah they call it claytronics.

  • OH SWEET.

So I can expect this in what...? Never?

  • hahahahahaha

  • that is so cool

  • if something like that could really be made it would be very wicked cool

  • Sorry but it's fake. No science for this just yet but it'll be allong in 20 or so years.

  • what amazing feat will be achieved in 20 years, this is just an engineering hassle won't ever happen, because it's just pointless compared to the effort!

  • I wouldn't be so bold about that... the rate of technology is geometrically exponential. In fact, some might argue that it's exponentially exponential! Pioneer visionary Ray Kurzweil has many conclusive logorithmic graphs based on the progression of several fields of science (aka: 'Prospicience'). One thing I've learned is that you can never be too optimistic about the possibilities of technology. History is full of impossibles that have become realities.

  • cool!

  • Thats really cool.Every kid would want that for christmas.

  • so you mean to tell me, that I can actuallty become Spider-Man?!?!

  • wow

  • hands

  • the hands are also animated -.-

  • i wish this would be real but its impossyble

  • its realy possible but as a laser

  • wrong!

Its theoretically possible..Using something called nano-technology..and you bet ur ass people are working on making such tiny machines..its the same concept that was introduced in the movie terminator. But the concept is much older. the smaller the machines get the closer we are to this

  • They already have nano-bots... but they aren't good enough to do jobs with it :P

  • The "nano bots" are getting smaller as technology becomes increasingly minature..you can especially thanks the computer industry for that. Micromanufacturing relies on light to create these micro or nano machines.

Anyway..this whole mimnaturization thing has a limit (up to 4 wavelengths of light I bleieve) Basically each year we are getting better at harvestign light and the resulting technology is approaching this whole "nano" thing..but it will have a theoretical limit.

  • So this whole nano technology has a limit actually.. the smallest machines we can theoretically creat will be as big as 4 atoms or molecules (i'll have to check). This is because in order to create these machines we use harvested light/ lasers and they dont get any smaller than that. But thats a level of micro/nano manufacturing we still haven't reached.

I'm not sure what nano machines you think we have already built but there may be some?

  • Artificial atoms? I'd never thought a thing like that.

  • Its not artificial atoms lol..Its nano scale machines that realign themselves to shift shapes..and yes I do know this is a fake video

  • yes it's fake, but there at team at Carnegie Mellon that are working on makeing this thing real, which i think would be awesome, think of the posobillitys

  • thatfvh bdfjzbg jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjdfs

  • Por supuesto que no es real! it´s virtual!

  • is it real?????

  • WOW!! no crei que pudiera alguien llegar a eso, porque viste asi los inteligentes pueden yo ni ahi de pedo que hago caca

Para que entiendan todos IS EL FUTURY

  • It is real. This is the future...

  • must cost billions of dollars...

  • no this is fake (obviously)

  • Yeah, Whatever!

  • its possible, think back in 1900, did they ever think of a compnay like intel??

  • i want it if it will be made and buyable

  • only if it was real

  • it would make me glad to have that cool stuff. but unfortunately its only an animation (a very good one)

  • very goood job!! i like the vid! a good imagination :p

  • would be awesome

  • actually microbiotics and nanite technology is quite possible. by 2010 theyre having cars with programmable paint jobs.

    brace yourself.

  • lol ppl who ask if that's real are just kidding, right? or there's ppl that retarded!? O.o

  • i would want to see this come true. loved it. however, i dun quite sure the touchable part made possible.

  • Virtual reality will be more interactive, complete and simple than this... and it will happen much earlier than something like this

  • The purpose of the Claytronics project is to interact with 3d designs or models, not to create them from the scratch. This way you can manipulate on the fly the result of a long engineering process, such as a car design. This might help share holders to invest on the ideas the company is working at the momment.

  • Interface too simple

  • nah... im used to maya i could never go thru that many menus hehe

  • ok, not alla maya menus but at least visualization option... this demo seams to me a scienze fiction piece

  • WTF? O_O

  • Es real esto??? D=!

  • fake for ever...

  • Yet another retro-future pipe dream that will fail to materialize.

  • what year is this? lol x)

    thats sweet

  • is that stuff real already?

  • great!!!!

  • vay anasını

  • uber! great vid

  • Great Job!

  • you can make briana banks out of it :D:D:D

  • Not real for the moment. Nano-Technology that is..

  • thats sweet

  • lol i didnt notice it at first, but the hands are cg too. awesome vid!

  • That'd be a wet dream...imagine being able to use that for art or sculpturing, design, pretty much anything...heck, do you know how easy it is for me to shape out a gorgeous woman? I could really use that, I'd have a tonne of stuff.

  • really a tonne you must like your woman big

  • that really looked good man. Good job!

  • Both.

I read about this before. Only thing is that it will be about 30 to 40 years into the future.

  • WAS THIS SERIOUS OR A SPOOF?
