I bought this printer too, 5 stars for me. See if you know how to use your equipment you will get good results, don't expect a equipment give you a superb result out of the box you have to know what you are doing to make it work for you.
Bad luck to you all, you guys should get HP or Epson printers obviously canon printers aare not for you people coz you guys dont know how to use it, or maybe ask Nikon to make printers for you people.
I really like the quality of this printer. I have had a few different printers including the Canon i9900 as well as Kodak dye-sublimation printers and this one has very nice print quality to it. Sharing the printer from my windows based machine to either of my Macs was painful and have yet to get it to work so for now they are directly connected to my mac and share from there. Great printer over all. The only thing I wish would be to less of a desktop hog in its width.
This printer is the biggest piece of shit I've ever owned. Keep getting error telling me that I have 2 of the same color cartridges installed EVERY time I try to print something and then will not print after removing the color and putting it back in FIFTY damn times, then will suddenly print with no problems. Will be posting a video of it being shot with a DPMS .308 sniper rilfe at 1000yrds as soon as I get a new NON-CANON printer.
I have a pixma pro 9500 from canon and when i print a picture i see dotted lines that go across the photo espeacially when i do B/W photos......what's the problem??

Not a very informative clip. "Not Bad" print quality....what does that mean? Why is it "not bad"??? More detailed analysis please.

I bet you have used very cheap cartridges and now moaning here... have you tried warranty service repair?
You have problem with your printer, this not means that the printer is a shit.
You are a bit too nervous, easy man...
