@toemasie No, they can't sue at all. The contestants sign those rights away in order to participate. It's fucked up, but it's Disney. If there's ever a death, the contestant is held responsible for their actions, not the corporations.

All it takes is for a good number of hurt contestants to contact a news program. It'll make a good "expose." Jenny Jones got sued because someone got murdered after appearing on her show. The show's participants signed lawsuit waivers... yet there was still a court case.
