Can you please show a clip of how you cut the channels around the body for the bindings? I'm at that stage in building my first guitar, and would like to see the method you use. Thanks!

I was an apprentice to Stefan Sobell and worked for him from 1988 to 2003.

If you really want to learn, teach yourself, there is plenty of info out there.

I didnt quite get the point of the superglue is it to fill gaps?

The glue helps seal the purfling which is of a different texture to the Rosewood. This helps prevent the finish sinking in . It may also fill minor gaps

Just remembered - also if you scrape and then seal with glue before sanding you prevent sanding dust entering the white purfling lines and discolouring them.
